Do not let this man touch your face or mouth!!! He did a horrible job on my wisdom teeth. It took me two years to recover. After getting my wisdom teeth pulled I would have reoccurring face swelling (chick muck cheeks). Three times on my left side that looked as if I just had my wisdom teeth pulled. Twice on my right. I followed his instructions to the tee. I would get pus built up in my cheeks. After, finally going back and forth to see him, he finally decided to drain the pus. He was very rude to my mom and I and at one point walked out of the room. He left me sitting waiting for thirty minutes. When he finally came back to work on my mouth he let me walk out with blood running down my chin. It wasn't till I went to the gas station after I had left his office a cashier at the gas station told me that I was bleeding. Approximately a week later I ended up in the Holmes regional hospital for getting extremely sick from the pus that was festering in my mouth. The doctors and nurses wanted to do a spinal tap. I stayed two nights in the hospital on an Iv and other medications. While I was there no other dentist would come look at my mouth because of his wrong doings.i had to wait till I was completely healed to go to a dentist because no other dentist wanted to see me. If you are recommended to this man, please find a highly recommended dentist that knows what they are doing! I would never want someone else to go through the pain and embarrassment that I went through.

I highly recommend Dr. Schmid. He did a minor surgery on my mouth/lip and did an amazing job. When I went for the consult, he was extremely thorough. He answered all of my questions, and then answered related questions that other patients often ask. During the procedure, he explained each step and displayed competence, expertise, and professionalism.

I had an emergency. They saw me the same day I had the need. The staff was kind and helpful. Dr Schmid did an excellent and thorough job. The office was clean.

I felt Dr Schmidt talked down to me. Disregarded my request for no epinephrine and gave it without my knowledge. I would not recommend nor would I use him again. Also felt he was unnecessarily rough with me during my procedure.

My teenager had wisdom teeth removed from Dr. Schmid and it was a very good experience considering what was being done. Dr. Schmid practices a very good pain management regime and my child didn't experience much discomfort at all. Very happy especially since we had a bad experience with another oral surgeon. I was comforted to see other parents I know (who are repeat patients) who were there having the same procedure done for their child.
