I've been a patient of Dr. Ashford for several years, since he first established his practice on Colorado (near Denton Regional Hospital) I've found him to be an excellent doctor. He takes necessary time for the patient. His nursing staff is generally capable, if just barely, but his office workers have an attitude. When she answers, you feel like you have interrupted something far more important than patients. Much as I hate it, I'll be looking for another doctor.

I have not had a single problem in Dr. Ashford's new office. Everyone is very professional and Dr. Ashford is the best doctor around. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I'm in a wheelchair from a bad car accident. Dr. Ashford is very knowledgeable very caring and very understanding. He us by far one of the very best and professional Doctors around.God Bless.

I highly recommend Dr. Ashford. He is prompt, courteous and very thorough. I never felt rushed, he spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was an excellent experience, I will definitely be going back.

When Dr. Shane Ashford's office was on Colorado Blvd things were fine. I would have even recommended the staff and doctor to anyone. Now that the location has changed. I would not recommend them to any one. Dr. Shane Ashford does have good patient doctor relationship and is well informed of his specific job as a doctor. However, the staff is incompetent. It is taking more than a month for my records to be transferred over to the new location. The doctor is good;however, the staff makes the visits absolutely not worth the time. The knew location is in the medical building one at the Presbyterian hospital. I had to call the insurance myself and then call the office back then call the pharmacy several times and still no information has been sent from the doctor's office to the pharmacy to refill my medication.

This is the most un professional and rude office staff I have ever seen in my life. I just called to schedule my appointment and right away the lady had a attitude with me for no reason. She then put me on hold an then hung up in my face! I have never been treated this poorly or harsh by a doctors office in my life! I then called back twice thinking it could have just been a bad connection but they ignored my calls both times.

Dr. Ashford is wonderful! Very helpful and insightful. He spent a lot of time with me on my first visit and you could really tell he cared about his patients.
