I was in this Hospital for 6 days recovering from major surgery. To me everything comes down to the interactions that I had with the staff. The support, knowledge, efficiency, caring and most important their communication was by far above and beyond expectations. Thank you Texas health Staff!

I had a great experience at Texas Health Presbyterian. The ER wait time was about 10 minutes. They got me into a room quickly and the Dr and Nurses were wonderful. They had me in surgery within 3 hours and recovery was also wonderful. I highly recomend this hospital.

This beautiful new hospital turned out to be a disappointment: 1. Post-surgical drains leaked on floor at patient's bedside when emptied. Visible fluid left on floor for patient to step in when he stood up in his hospital socks that were never changed. 2. Plastic measuring cup for drains left in bathroom for days without rinsing. Fluid encrusted cup set on shelf next to patient's toothbrush. 3. Leakage from drains and catheter all over bed. Patient left to lie there for hours until family member requested that nurses change the sheets. 4. Nurses are overheard more than once complaining about other patients, which does not create an atmosphere of professionalism. One nurse overheard telling another that the main thing she's learned is CYA. 5. Some of the nurses were very nice, but others were annoyed by questions from family members and requests for assistance from patients. Minimal information about medications, patient status, etc., given to family.
