Doctor Bouraee is wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a Podiatrist!
After suffering with a bunion for years and being told by two surgeons that having it removed would require breaking my foot, 6 weeks of non weight bearing on my foot,
another 6 weeks in a boot, physical therapy, and swelling for up to six months I decided to put the surgery on hold since I am a teacher and could not take the time off from school.
A year later by Divine intervention I was lead to Dr. Bouraee who told me she could not only remove my bunion, but as soon as the procedure was over that morning I would be able to walk out of the hospital in a small boot with no weight bearing restrictions at home and be in a tennis shoe 4 weeks after that! I could hardly believe it! So after all of my questions were answered thoroughly, professionally, and patiently by Dr. Bouraee, I had complete confidence that I had at last found the doctor to help me.
Today it has been 4 weeks since my surgery and I am here to testify that everything that Dr. Bouraee assured me would happen has! I walked out of her office this morning in a tennis shoe ! Also I have felt little to no discomfort from beginning to end of the past 4 weeks. Naturally my foot is still swollen and I will have to continue to elevate and ice while gradually getting used to wearing a shoe again but I am so relieved to finally have my foot free of pain and looking normal again , all thanks to Dr. Bouraee.
