Overall a wonderful experience. Doctor was really caring. Staff polite and helpful. They informed me over the phone about options we would be discussing and then mailed over a lot of information about chronic pain, Dr Soin, and the options they have. They really stress a holistic approach to pain and from the first phone call mention that they do NOT believe in long term addicting pain killers. Clearly if you are looking to score drugs- probably not the place. It makes for a very clean office and waiting room. As someone who have been to other pain centers- I often felt uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room. He really helped me though. Offered therapy and home exercise and actually listened to my problem. I felt well taken care of. I do recommend you come here. He helped me at least.

I highly recommend coming here. Dr Soin was very caring. Spent a long time with me. Explained my problem in detail - spinal stenosis- and offered lots of helpful options. I feel better today than I did in 20 years. I very much recommend you coming here and have told a lot of my friends in my card group who are fellow back pain sufferers! He has a very kind demeanor and a excellent beside manner

Dr. Soin was very disappointing. He never took an accurate history or even touched my dad for a physical exam. Never took any time answering questions, explaining any procedures, or what/how he was going to treat him. Horrible documentation on the visits and procedures. Actually caused workers compensation approvals to be revoked due to incomplete/half hazard documentation. We were told numerous times that "he was too busy to talk to you" and his office never returned any calls/messages. He did not offer any appropriate compassion or sense of urgency for acute issues. I am in the medical field and was very very disappointed on how my family and I were treated. Would never recommend to any family, friend, or patient.

Just came across this webpage and I just want you all to know my experience. Dr Soin is the most compassionate and caring physician I have been too. I have been around the block with chronic back pain and finally found a doctor that listened and cared about me. He treated me as a person and not just a number. I have had some injections from him and the experience has been wonderful. He even called me a week after to check up on me. I think those of you who actually read these reviews should do your research and you will see that he is one of the best pain doctors in DAYTON!!! I strongly disagree with the negative reviews below and I have recommended so many people to him. I am telling all my friends who had a good experience to post here so everyone can know habout it.

Excellent experience. Doctor is very caring. I have been to over 7 different pain management physicians over the past 15 years and this is definitely the cleanest and nicest office out there. Doctor Soin spent a lot of time with me going over my problem and really listened to my concerns. I am very happy here and glad to have found him. His philosophy is one where he does NOT write addicting pain killers. That's something to keep in mind before you visit him.

HORRIBLE. After mistakeningly hitting the nerve with the cortisone needle, Dr. Soin abandoned the patient, refused to offer guidance, left all follow-up to a junior tech / non-nurse / assistant, left the office while patient still trying to recover and in the dark about prognosis. Refused to follow-up after making an honest mistake.

Amol Soin and his staff are the most uncaring, people on the planet. My wife has stage four breast/bone cancer, along with fibromyalgia. She's in a lot of pain. Soin prescribed the fentanyl patch for her. She had some reactions prompting some questions. We tried repeatedly to talk with him by phone since it's a 40 minute drive to a congested part of town. He refused to return our repeated calls and told the receptionist to tell her to just quit using the patch, leaving her with no pain relief, which we both pointed out. Doesn't matter. No phone calls for any reason. When you have questions about a potentially deadly medicine, you should be able to talk to the doctor who prescribed it if you are having issues with it. You can if you pay for another office visit in a week or two, depending on when they feel like getting you in. Terrible experience. DO NOT GO TO Amol Soin. He is obviously in it for the money alone and cares nothing about the people's lives he is playing with. BAD BAD
