Dr. Kassan is knowledgeable but that is not the only criteria that should be used in evaluating performance. If so, companies would not hire people like me to evaluate their lawyers, doctors, or Ph.D. for their"' other" intelligences. There is no acceptable reason why a doctor is late for years on end. Obviously, by this time you have an idea of how many patients you can see a day. There is no excuse why you would abuse other people's time. Perhaps it makes Dr. Kassan feel more important if people are willing to wait for him for hours on end, or he simply does not care or is unwilling to recognize that MDs are not above the rest of us. It's pathetic that they give you an alarm when you arrive, not text you to let you know BEFORE you arrive that he is running behind. IHe is not OB/GYN or neurologist. DR Kassan is ALWAYS behind, even at 9:00 am, and generally 3 hours behind. You are shamed if you have the audacity to ask how much longer after waiting an hour and a half. After waiting 6 hours for an appointment, It was simply amazing how other rheumatologists are able to keep their schedules and are generally right on time. I found another doctor. Perhaps, if someone took him to court over lost wages or hours billed, he would get the message this is an unacceptable business practice. Reviewers that say he was worth every minute I waited and gave him a 5-star rating for punctuality obviously do not work or do not value their time much. Arrogance or indifference should not be tolerated and everybody's time should be respected no matter who you are, MD's included.

Dr. Kassan is a God send. Yes, the wait times can be awfully long, but I never complain because he never makes me feel rushed and spends as much time as needed with all of his patients. He is the most knowledgeable and concerned Dr. I have ever seen. I drive for 2 hrs. to see Dr. Kassan as there is no Rheumatologist in my area who even holds a candle to him. He has been my Dr. for over 20 yrs., and I am so grateful for him.

DO NOT RECCOMEND He spent 20 minutes with me and declared that I don't have MS on his way out the door. I asked him what he thinks I have and he shrugged. I was referred to him by my dermatologist for itchiness, and he laughed at the recommendation and said that was not a symptom of MS which was belittling, dismissive and arrogant. He was maybe one of the least caring docs I've ever seen.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Rude and unprofessional are the only words I can think of to describe this clinic. Dr. Kassan or whoever is in charge is much too busy or they don’t care enough about patients to be available for answering phones, scheduling appointments, seeing appointments.. anything! My appointment has been cancelled the day before THREE TIMES IN A ROW now because the doctor “will suddenly be out of town for the rest of the week.” I’m trying to see Dr. Kassan from 3hrs away and they cancel my appointment the day before? Three times?! I have to plan for this in my schedule! I work in the medical field so I understand how busy offices can be, but this is unacceptable, rude and unprofessional. Definitely NOT how a doctors office should operate. I understand family emergencies coming up, etc but not three times in a row. Meanwhile his patients, like me, are living life with constant pain wondering and trying to figure out if they have an autoimmune disease or not and what to do about it. I’m so upset and disappointed with the experience I have had with them. I will be finding another doctor ASAP. I should’ve listened to others reviews and not even tried to go here in the first place.

I have been seeing Dr. Kassan for more than 5 years now and he has been a godsend. Yes - the wait can be long but the health issues he deals with in his patients are very complex and difficult and he addresses each individual uniquely. I had been having health problems for almost 15 years that were never truly addressed by other physicians, even several rheumatologist. Dr. Hassan made me feel like I was not crazy, and together we eventually got to a great treatment that is working for me.

Dr. Kassan is worth the wait. He is extremely knowledgeable and aggressive with medications. Plus, he is very well connected with the medical community in Denver and knows the best people to go to. Don't expect a fancy office, because it is not.

How can he get a 5 in punctuality when he has several 1's and 3's, that does not make sense. Also, there is no way he can average a 5 with all the 2's, 2 1/2's and 3's, wha
t kind of rating system are you using? This is what his real rating should look like.

Dr. Kasson is so compassionate and intelligent. He looks at the whole picture. I feel like I have the best doctor looking out for me. I have recommended him to many.
