I 100% agree with everyone on this survey and others about the office staff. They are unkind, uncaring, rude, and a battle to go through. It doesn't matter how nice you approach them, they behave with contempt. We've taken our son to him since we adopted our son at age two weeks. There came a point in our son's life that he started having high fevers. Years of fevers that the doc wrote off as fever syndrome. Then , he finally did blood tests and found inflammation. He sent him to a specialist. The specialist was hard to see and missed the same thing: BRAIN CANCER! BTW, we attend church with this doc. I took him aside to tell him about a new symptom that went along with the fever. He shrugged it off and made me feel terrible for approach him. AVOID THIS STAFF OF UNCARING HUMANS AT ALL COSTS!

Started there when my child was a newborn- he's friendly, but over the past 15 months he's become very distracted (I think he's overworked because his associate just left the practice) and his staff is pretty bad. The NP Jessica has always immediately jumped to antibiotic prescribing w/o thorough examination, another NP misdiagnosed my daughter with a double ear infection and a sore throat and prescribed antibiotics (he saw her 2 days later and said there was nothing wrong...) and he just recently wrote vitals wrong for my child's intake form for a surgery, a mistake that could have caused problems for my child had we not caught it. Love his personality, but all the cons outweigh the pros.

I love Dr Niebaum, but it's not worth the hassle of dealing with his rude, uncooperative staff. My 15 month old had a fractured leg for 3 weeks that was missed. I begged for help and an ortho referral. Finally went to Scottish Rite and got diagnosis. Every little thing I call for is a battle. I am thinking of letting a lawyer send them the hospital bill to pay. I've been going there since my baby was born...don't bother, especially if you have a special needs child.

Staff is judgemental and sarcastic. He will try and go the non-medication route first. Which by the time I go to the doctor I have already tried all that. He missed a case of RSV in one of my kids. However, he is very nice. And he will listen if you want to go see a specialist. And he is very good with kids.
