Dr. Hayes is the ideal combination of consummate professional, while still being warm and personable. He treated me as if I was an intelligent person and not just a name on a chart. When I didn't understand something he took the time to explain it, but never in a dismissive or patronizing way. He was very knowledgeable and I appreciate the excellent care; to be treated with compassion was the icing on the cake.

Dr. Austin Hayes in Hillsboro, Oregon performed my surgery right there at the surgery center in same building as his office. The whole team was great! Everyone so thoughtful and caring!
Right from our first visit he went over and beyond on letting me know everything right up front, he is very detailed about everything.
He takes his time answering any and all questions you have, he don't rush through it he makes sure you fully understand everything involved.
He is very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process.
He called me and personally talked to me before scheduling to make sure I fully understood everything ahead of time. He gives you his email and you can email him directly with any questions, he is very prompt on getting back to you. Never makes you feel like your bothering him.
Since I live out of town he worked with on the surgery time so I didn't feel rushed. He talked to me and did my prep the morning of surgery. Everything went great turned out just as he said it would.
Gave my friend that was with my his cell number in case we needed to get ahold of him during the night after surgery.
After my surgery he texted me and called me several times to see how I was doing. I had his cell phone number to call anytime to keep in contact if I had any concerns or questions and to let him know how things were going.
I'm so glad I choose DR. AUSTIN HAYES to do my surgery, I don't think you could find a more caring up front doctor than Austin.
I'm VERY VERY SATISFIED with how everything went from our first visit to my six week check up.
In fact for my six week check up instead of me driving all the way to Hillsboro, Dr. Hayes came to his Hood River office and met me so I didn't have to drive so far.
Im very happy with the way my lift and implants look, HE DID A FABULOUS JOB!
I would recommend him to anyone thinking about having this surgery, You wont be disappointed!
You will actually be surprised on what a great skilled and caring doctor he is. I PROMISE!

Dr. Hayes was the most professional, patient and helpful doctor I've ever worked with. Answered all my never ending questions and was very helpful even after the surgery. His work is like an art form - I went from barely a size A to a C without it looking fake or overdone. It turned out natural and perfect for my body type - am beyond happy with the results!

Happily for me, Dr Hayes was on call after I went to the ER for a finger injury. He was extremely patient with my difficulty handling the unexpected trauma. He fit me into his next day surgery schedule, followed up with me closely and opted for conservative treatment even though it entailed a long wait and see approach. As a result of his surgical talent and thorough treatment plan, my injury resolved optimally. He is funny, honest, easy to understand and accessible. Go see him; you will be happy you did so.

I needed hand surgery after falling last summer while I was running. I was recommended to Dr. Hayes, and I feel very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. He is very personable and compassionate, and he was extremely patient with my squeamishness about anything medical. He listened without acting in a hurry, explained the surgery well, and followed up with an extra appointment just to check in with me. Best of all, my hand is almost completely back to normal! I'd totally recommend him!

Was taken to Providence St Vincent Emergency due to a badly infected dog bite. It was necessary to open the wound and remove infected areas. Dr. Hayes performed the surgery at 11 pm on Dec. 23rd. His follow-up visits in the hospital were during Christmas eve & Christmas through Dec 27th. His visits were actually enjoyable, though I was in pain during some of his visits. He is so personable without being syrupy and has a great sense of humor.

His communication skills are excellent – both pre & post-op. All options and possible outcomes were explained in a logical, friendly, conversational manner. I did not feel the explanations were a rehearsed boilerplate contrived by an attorney.

With the type of surgery I had, it is not uncommon to have some scarring and some reduced mobility. I have neither.

I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hayes.

I cannot recommend Dr. Hayes highly enough! He performed my breast reduction and I am so happy with the results. He is attentive and kind and such a good listener! He is a deft and skillful surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Hayes performed my hand surgery. I was impressed with his credentials and felt very confident with his plan for my surgery that had some unknowns going into it. The results are terrific and I'm thankful he was able to use the least invasive method of surgery. Scheduling is very easy, no wait time for my appointments, his office staff is very friendly and I appreciate Dr. Hayes' ability to listen and have genuine concern towards my healing. I highly recommend him as a surgeon.

I was very impressed with Dr. Hayes from the very first consultation appointment. After reviewing his credentials and accolades it was very evident I chose a PS that was driven, accomplished, and intelligent. He is thorough in his consultations and listens to your desired results. Dr. Hayes delivers amazing results and personal pre/post-operative care. He was very accommodating and was willing to see me after hours if needed. He truly has masterful hands.
