Dr. Jewell is the most knowledgeable, educated, brilliant doctor/surgeon. She is careful and thorough. She is empathetic, but she doesn't baby her patients. She is matter-of-fact which she has to be because cancer is serious and life threatening. She is an EXCELLENT doctor. I would never go to anyone else.

I went to see Dr. Elizabeth Jewell after experiencing concerning gynecological symptoms. Dr. Jewell was wonderful. She recommended biopsies, which helped very much to alleviate my anxieties. She recommended an additional procedure, which was a procedure I had wanted for some time. Everyone I engaged with on the day of the procedure was welcoming, caring, reassuring, and on-the-ball. After the procedures, Dr. Jewell stopped by my Recovery Room to make sure I was still doing well, and to answer any questions I might have. No matter what the outcome of the biopsies, I am confident that I am in great hands! THANK YOU!

I was real excited to meet this Dr Elizabeth Jewell all she did was BRAG about what a good physician she is.During the actual surgery date she walks in when I’m already falling asleep and says Hi??? No Bed side manners at all!!! If u are looking for kindness and a Dr who gots everything together when it comes to YOU ?? Forget about it. Dr Jewelle acts like her cup is half full.I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in this cancer surgeon. No sympathy for u especially if u are do not know what’s happens! Forget receiving a phone call back from the Dr herself you talk to an answering machine then her “TEAM” calls u back and don’t have NO ANSWER’S.The “TEAM” has to call u back when they find out your question??To see the Dr you better wait 2 hrs and then you get in the office and wait another 20 minutes.The Dr E.Jewelle sends you to other Dr’s for pain management that is TERRIBLE!!!! When you speak to the Dr Jewelle aboutNOT SEEING THAT DR NO MORE ? Dr Jewelle talks to you like you have NO CHOICE?? This MSK HOSPITAL NEEDS to really investigates how these Dr.’s treat and communicate with their very sick CANCER PATIENT’S !! I know if it was them or their family members they would be treated a lot different!!!! I’m a very caring person and I see these patients sitting in their wheel chair and sitting for a while and sometimes you bring a person with u and they don’t have all day to wait with u .I’m totally DISAPPOINTED and SADDENED that that MSK HOSPITAL does nothing for these patients !!!!!

Please avoid this doctor. She misdiagnosed and over-operated on me. Took healthy body parts from me and also caused other issues. This hospital has more competent practitioners you can see. Please learn from my experience and do not let this one perform surgery on you. The other reviewers sing praises; I cannot say the same and want to make others aware.
