I usually do not write reviews let alone bad reviews. However, my experience at this office has been nothing but discombobulated. I would like to acknowledge and appreciate the information Dr.Rodgers gave me, I love her and her personality. However her front desk needs work.
My first visit, I was greeted unkindly by their front office staff. It is the same lady every-time, she doesn’t wear a name tag and I’m quite sure she gave me the wrong name. She is very rude and her customer care skills are little to none. Ive been nothing but respectful and all I’ve received back was attitudes and dismissals. I had to pay a copay which is normal to see the doctor.
My second visit which was required I had to pay another co-pay but this time to get and ultrasound done IN OFFICE, which may be normal office policy but I still thought was weird. The same lady at the front desk then said I needed another appointment to follow up. I called back later to ask more questions asked to speak to someone in billing department or HR she said “they don’t speak to patients” intriguing is it not? My guardian then called WITHOUT me on the phone to ask more about billing ALONE. The office lady proceeded to cut my guardian off and then even HUNG UP IN HER FACE. I am older than 18 so I have the right to patient confidentiality. This lady gave ALL my PERSONAL information out and the reason I came to visit initially WITHOUT MY PERMISSION to someone other than myself(the paitent). I’m appalled and disappointed. She then stated I needed to pay ANOTHER copay for a required third visit in order to get my RESULTS from my first visit. They do not do “PORTALS OR PHONE CALLS” which is what I was told on the phone. I’ve been to plenty OB GYN this is this first to charge me three DIFFERENT co pays for the SAME issue.
My third visit, I come in very respectfully and she immediately dismisses me as I’m asking for the result which she said I’d get. She hands me a preliminary report NOT results and says to me that those are my results. I then proceed to ask for an itemized bill, she says they do not give those out. Then I asked for my blood work results she said she can’t print them out. I have to call the lab to get my results. SINCE WHEN? After 15mins of waiting she finally is able to print my blood work results and basically throws the paper at me to rush me out the door. I had an appointment at 9:30am!, left out at 10am NEVER speaking to the doctor. Again! I had an appointment and was rushed out the door. Overall I’m very disappointed in the FOH staff. Dr. Rodgers herself is great which is what made me keep coming back. I wish Dr.Rodgers had another office sad to say goodbye to another good doctor due to unpleasant encounters. After my experience with her FOH staff again for the third time I want NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS PLACE.
