Dr. Fretz is always very kind and very interested in how you are doing! She will make you feel like you are right at home. She will do anything to help out her patients. The office staff is super helpful and much better than in the past. I highly recommend Flat Rock Physicians!!

Dr. Fretz is great. Her staff is absolutely horrible! Referrals take months and they blame it on each other. Takes weeks sometimes to get a call back. They are rude and cranky.

DOCTOR FRETZ IS GREAT KIND AND CARING AND VERY SMART. HER STAFF SUCK THEY ARE VERY RUDE, CRUDE AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR ANYTHING THE ONLY REASON I STILL GO THERE IS DOCTOR FRETZ AND THIS CHANGE OVER TO COMPUTER TO TELL HER ANYTHING IS POOR WHAT 1 PHONE CALL TOOK 1 DAY TO RESOLVE NOW TAKE'S WEEKS OR A MONTHS.. GETTING RX REFILLED FOR 25.00 DOLLARS IS BAD FOR US WORKING POOR, AND FORGET A PRIOR AUTH OR REFERREL IT NEVER GETS DONE. I NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM IF IT TAKE'S A HOUR OR TWO WAITING DOCTOR FRETZ IS WORTH IT BUT THE STAFF IN THE OFFICE THAT'S ANOTHER SOTRY.

I have been going to Dr.Fretz for 3 or 4 years. Before I started to go to Dr. Fretz, I had 3 other doctors. 2 of them retired. One of the doctors that retired was a wonderful doctor...he was my favorite doctor. The previous doctor I had rushed through appointments, and patients were only allowed to ask 2 questions....if you had more than 2 questions you would have to schedule another appointment. I was referred to Dr. Fretz by a coworker. Dr. Fretz has by far been the best doctor that I had. She took over the number 1 spot for me. She is very caring and understanding, and doesn't rush out of the room. I definitely would recommend Dr. Fretz to anyone that is searching for a new doctor. I do agree with other comments made on this website that charging $25.00 for calling in to have your medication refilled is a lot of money. that policy should be changed immediately.

Dr. Fretz is a wonderful doctor and person. I dont think staff is good at all. They are pretty rude. I only tolerate that because I like Dr. Fretz.

I have been an RN for 20 years, and I can tell you, Dr Fretz is top-notch. She is thorough, caring, and very intelligent. I trust her judgment. Her office staff, not so much. Lots of billing errors. They are friendly but seem to make lots of mistakes, whether it be with appointment times, bills, or misinformation on the phone. I tolerate it because I like Dr Fretz so much.

Dr Fretz is a wonderful doctor and appears sincerely interested in helping to resolve your problems, rather than dismiss of your concerns. The staff, however, is another issue. My biggest issue in the last few times I have been there, is that they have incorrectly credited my account. One time when I had both children in at the same time, they credited my one childs account double the copay I paid, and the other showed as if I owed. The last time I was in the office, I paid cash. But received a bill 2 months later for the full copay again. Unfortunately I couldn't find my receipt, so ended up paying both kids' copay again, costing me an extra $50 because of their lack of competency. I will never pay cash again, for sure. Other issues I have had is with the nurse staff not calling my rx's in when they say they will, and trying to get a refill on a Rx could take days. One time I had called two or three times with no response, so ended up having to make an appointment for my Rx.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fretz for over 15 years and I too followed her when she moved to Flat Rock. Dr. Fretz is a wonderful person and Doctor. I do not like the front office staff....very difficult to get in to see her. Maybe the staff is trying to get out early and sabotage her patients. I have spoken with Dr. Fretz before about this problem, she gets mad and says she will talk with the staff. But, still same problem especially if very sick and need to see her that day. I also am disapointed about the new charge to refill prescriptions. I use two maintenance drugs on a daily basis and will for the rest of my life. Yet I need to make appointment to get these refilled every 6 months ???? Sounds like a way to make more money for them.

Overall Dr. Fretz is a great doctor. She is very thorough and will spend time with you, however her office staff lacks in this area tremendously and there is sometimes quite a bit of a wait to get in to see her. Also, this office now charges a $25 administration fee for the convenience to call in to have a prescription refilled, even when you take medication daily.
