Dr Trussell and his staff are amazing. They made everything easy for us and took great care of my husband!

Went to Dr. Trussell for a colonoscopy that turned into my having to get a barium enem@ because the colonoscopy couldn't be completed. After stating he'd call me in a few days with the results, which I think we all would have expected anyway, I never heard from him again. Even after I called his office and sent a couple of emails, nothing. I finally had to contact my own primary care physician to get my test results, explain what everything meant and answer some of my follow up questions. His surgical abilities... who knows. His interpersonal communication and patient care skills ... practically non-existent.

Did colonoscopy prep and arrived at 6 AM at the hospital. We’re told that our appointment was canceled earlier in the week. Front desk left three messages for the doctor and no one called back. We left three messages with the doctors office and his back up Dr. Alexander never called us back. And hour and a half later the office manager called and insisted they had called us. We have two cell phones and no home phone. There were no missed calls and no messages. Besides, as if we would do a prep for colonoscopy knowing it was canceled.

Steady hands and very knowledgeable. Dr. Trussell provides great detail of the process, then completes the procedure to perfection.
