dr cruz tried to save my husband she did chemo when the va hospital would not she is a blessing my husband ended up passing away because the va did not help

I had a very pleasant experienced with Dr. Cruz. She took time to explained my diagnosis and prognosis. She was very knowledgable in the subject and was very profesional. I would recommend Dr Cruz to anyone. She spoke to me like a family member. Felt very comfortable.

I was underwhelmed by Dr Cruz as a physician. She spends more time texting during patient interaction time than she does with the patient! I found her to be ill prepared for each of our meetings and have prayed that she doesn't demonstrate such behaviors with cancer patients who deserve more from her. We did not choose her as a Doctor but rather her partner, Dr. Patel who pawned us off on her. My husband has a serious blood disorder and we recently learned that she isn't even Board Certified in this area and her limited expertise shamefully showed during our interactions! I wouldn't trust her for an instant!

Dr. Cruz-Amy is very caring and attentive. She cares about you when giving you a bad news. She takes time to explain your diagnosis espicially with a diagnosis of cancer. I have have been her patient for over 2 years now and do not have any complaints. She goes out of her way for you. Would never change her.

Cr. Cruz-Amy is the best doctor I have been treated by. She is caring, understanding, sat hrs with me explaining my diagnosis and possible treatment alternatives. I totally disagree with the prior statement regarding her. I do not usually comment on this type of web sites but when I saw this comments rearding Dr. Cruz-Amy I had to make a comment. She is very sweet and always has a smile in her face. She made me feel like I was part of her family. Who ever made the prior comments was having a very bad day likely or did not likely what she had to say regarding their diagnosis and took it out on her.

Dr. Cruz-Amy is now practicing as an Oncologist since July 1, 2011.She is NOT certified in MEDICAL ONCOLOGY yet. She is OVER CONFIDENT, demonstrates an AIR OF SUPERIORITY, is CONDESCENDING to patients and colleagues and is INEXPERIENCED. SHE MAKES MISTAKES. DO NOT TRUST HER WITH YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE. SHE IS a dangerous combination of arrogance and inexeperience.
