You always want to be part of a team that fills you with positive energy right? I will keep this updated to let everyone know when and where to book with Kendal-you won't be disappointed!

I just got my first treatment of the Opus Fractional Plasma laser resurfacing. Engineered Aesthetics Plastic Surgery Institute is the only plastic surgeon who performs this procedure at the moment. IT IS AMAZING!! I have been going to Kendal, the most wonderful aesthetician, for many years, and she now has found a new home with Dr. Engineer. She listens, spends time, and truly cares about YOU! A total PRO!Dr. Engineer is great, too. Very professional, upscale, and when he explains something, you know he knows what he's doing. In fact, I expressed my desire to have a lower facelift to address issues around my mouth and neck, and he explained that he could get great results with just some strategically placed fillers! Way cheaper, and NO downtime! This proved to me that he really wants the best for his patients- he's not just trying to make a buck! WOW!! Everyone there is so kind, and friendly. A great procedure, from an exceptional aesthetician and doctor. NICE !

He's definitely a great professional, a great doctor! He took great care of my son and myself. I know the majority of doctors in Vegas and I know not to trust in a lot
of them. I did trust Dr. Engineer and hated that we lost him as our doctor... I do understand that he had great an opportunity somewhere else. He also had the best staff I have ever seeing, including many other states that I constantly visit. Best luck to Dr. Engineer and all his staff, we sure miss you all very much!

Dr Engineer was a hack. He operated on me then left town. I wonder why? Now I have to go to another doc to get my hand fixed.

Dr. Nitin J. Engineer's response
I take the patient reviews given on ratemds.com, as well as other websites very seriously in order to continuously fine tune and improve my specialized practice of treating plastic, reconstructive, and hand and upper extremity ailments. Your comments are very helpful as part of that process. I was concerned to hear that you felt that I was a “hack.” In addition, this comment is markedly inconsistent with feedback that I have received from other patients throughout my career. I understand that no physician’s feedback is 100% pristine, however, I do take pride in knowing that the vast majority of patients that I have treated have had a positive experience. As part of my practice, I implement the best techniques from the training that I have received regarding the care that I can provide to help alleviate patients’ symptoms. Based on my training and certification, I concentrate on recommending treatment that complies with the standard of care in the field of hand surgery, whether it be conservative management or surgical intervention. I have maintained an ethical hand surgery practice for 10 years, making sure not to offer treatment that is not necessary, and I plan to continue this level of care throughout my career. In response to your comment regarding leaving town, I would like to inform you that I temporarily left for 3 years to get additional training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to further broaden the scope of my practice and skillset. I have completed that fellowship and have returned to the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area to continue my contribution to the healthcare of this community. Therefore, it would be my pleasure to see you in follow-up or speak to you over the phone at any time to discuss any questions or concerns regarding the recommendations that I have made and the treatment I have provided. Furthermore, in the details of your review, I noted that you had given our practice a uniformly low rating in the fields of staff, punctuality, helpfulness, and knowledge. These responses are also concerning to us since they are considerably different from the feedback that we have received from other patients. My staff and I would like to make appropriate adjustments and improvements based on your constructive criticism, which would be appreciated. We are dedicated to the genuine, courteous treatment of our patients. We provide the same level of care and respect with which we treat our own loved ones. I am certain that we have extended that treatment to you. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your questions, complaints, or concerns. If you have found another healthcare provider, who is able to treat your symptoms differently than I have recommended, I wish you all the best in your health and recovery.

Dr. Engineer is a phenomenal physician. He's a subject matter expert that is great at speaking in terms that his patients will understand. He sets clear expectations for treatment and recovery and gives you the opportunity (and encourages) questions. Even better, he has an impeccable bedside manner, and has hired a best in class a team. I tell anyone who will listen about my great experience.

Biography

Dr. Nitin J. Engineer is an accredited, fellowship-trained Plastic Surgeon specializing in Aesthetic, Reconstructive, Hand, and Microvascular Surgery. He is the founder, CEO, and principal surgeon at Engineered Aesthetics Plastic Surgery Institute, which is dedicated to serving the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area. Dr. Engineer developed a very early interest in the surgical specialties when he secured one of only two positions as a high-school student to work as an Anesthesia Technician in the operating room in his hometown of Macon, Georgia. He held this position for three consecutive years, and this rare opportunity would be the foundation of his deeply rooted passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Engineer’s earliest experiences in the operating room exposed and allowed him to observe complex reconstructive operations involving the entire human body. His greatest admiration for plastic and reconstructive surgery is the emphasis on not only reconstruction of form but also restoration of function for patients. Furthermore, Dr. Engineer’s extensive experience in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery has prepared him for his successful career in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which he considers to be the perfect union of art and science. In 1992, Dr. Engineer began his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, a city that he holds near and dear to his heart. In order to diversify his background, he elected to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, as well as enroll in a rigorous premedical curriculum. Dr. Engineer excelled academically at this prestigious institution and was one of ten individuals to receive early acceptance during his sophomore year into the equally prestigious Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University in 1996 and completed his Doctorate of Medicine at Vanderbilt University in 2000. Dr. Engineer’s postgraduate education is extensive and initially included completion of a General Surgery internship at the University of Washington in Seattle followed by a General Surgery residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. In 2007, he completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery with the Division of Plastic Surgery at Southern Illinois University. Immediately following his Hand and Microvascular Surgery fellowship training, Dr. Engineer joined the faculty at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and served as Clinical Instructor with the Department of Surgery, where he taught and directed medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of Hand and Microvascular Surgery. In 2009, Dr. Engineer subsequently moved his practice to Las Vegas and ultimately built EXTREMICURE® Hand Center, where he had been dedicated to treating patients with any ailment or injury involving the upper extremity. In 2016, Dr. Engineer would experience another fortuitous and rare second chance to return to the University of Louisville and study Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with his greatest mentor, Dr. Bradon J. Wilhelmi, who had previously trained him to become a Hand and Microvascular Surgeon. Although Dr. Engineer had developed a successful and busy hand surgery practice in Henderson, Nevada, he always regretted not capitalizing on an earlier opportunity to become a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Having a profound belief in destiny and one’s calling, Dr. Engineer closed his practice and returned to Louisville, Kentucky to continue his educational journey to the surprise of many. He completed his training in October 2019, where he also received the Clinical Excellence Award in 2019 and graduated with the highest number of cases performed in the history of the program. Following graduation, Dr. Engineer immediately returned to Las Vegas, Nevada, the community that he adores and calls home without any intention of ever leaving again. Dr. Engineer has completed a total of 10 years of postgraduate training in plastic surgery, hand surgery, and general surgery in an effort to refine his surgical skills and provide the most comprehensive and compassionate care to all of his patients. In addition, he has extensive experience as a practicing surgeon, having developed a successful private practice for 10 years. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Engineer has achieved board certification in General Surgery and Hand and Microvascular Surgery and is board-eligible in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Upon his return to the Las Vegas Valley, Dr. Engineer founded Engineered AestheticsTM Plastic Surgery Institute in January 2020. The goal of his new practice is to provide a unique and individual experience to each patient in a boutique environment, which allows one to achieve their ultimate plastic surgical goals. Dr. Engineer is known for his kind demeanor and dedication to spending a great amount of time educating his patients, answering all questions regarding their plastic surgical concerns, and setting realistic expectations. In light of his comprehensive training in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Engineer has developed a passion and surgical expertise in cosmetic procedures of the face, breast, and body. His particular interests include rhinoplasty, facelift, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, and breast revision surgery. He also specializes in body contouring with liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), mommy makeover procedures, and cosmetic surgery for men, including hair transplantation. Finally, Dr. Engineer also offers an array of nonsurgical aesthetic treatment options including injections with neuromodulators (eg. Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau) and hyaluronic acid fillers (eg. Juvederm and Restylane), Sculptra, chemical peels, laser therapy, and numerous other skin rejuvenation products. Dr. Engineer looks forward to meeting you in consultation to discuss and offer the best treatment options to address your aesthetic goals and achieve the beauty you see in yourself.
