Dr. Goldstein probably knows a lot. But the structure he has around him, his office staff makes it a poor investment. The one staff that kept calling is probably straight out of McDonald's take out window (actually, that might be an insult to McD's staff). The only sentence she knows is "We need to collect $$$ amount from you". I sent her a 4 page letter with all documentation from insurance company to show I have no further dues and the only thing she said after that was "we still need to collect xxx amount". It was almost comical. And Dr. Goldstein won't look at the flares, won't touch you to test. He is behind this big table and he will never get up. Will talk to you for 5 minutes and dictate 15 minutes of notes into his phone. When you actually get up from behind the mahogany desk, examine a patient and look at a knee or an elbow, touch it, is when the healing process begins. These so called "smart" doctors don't understand the human basics.

Very smart Doc, You want the best you go to him. He is a very hard working man. Including he works 24/7. I trust him with my family, and that is saying a lot.

I have been seeing him a number of years and find him very knowledgeable. Teaches at well known university, and up-to-date on new things, as well as adverse reactions to medications.

He no longer takes insurance plans. His fee is $100/up. He is always late, staff changes frequently. I stay because he can be a great doc when you need him. He listens. Inquires about family. Needs to be more medically interested by examinations, etc. Usually end up just talking - that's it.

I think I am going to cancel my appointment based on these comments. I didn't have a good feeling with this doctor too. When I called for an appointment, they asked me whether I had any insurance. If I don't, they only accept cash or credit card. I was never asked such questions by just making a doctor appointment.
