My family member had a medical emergency while out of town on vacation and was treated by Dr. Gignac at Memorial Hospital. Even in a busy ER, she was very attentive and competent, and really put us at ease in a situation that was quite frightening and unfamiliar. She took extra care to make sure we were well-informed and aware of the tests and procedures administered. I am truly grateful for her compassion in treating my loved one, and feel we were lucky to have been in her care.

My grandfather was brought by fire rescue to the er and Dr. Gignac quickly went to his bedside and questioned us. His ekg showed he was having a heart attack. She had him transferred and the clog was opened in less than 45 minutes. Hes fine now. Thanks for saving his life Dr. G!!

She advised procedure that could have been avoided by doing non-invasive ones. And when the invasive procedure fail I have yet to talk to her about why it failed, what should I expect and what to do next. She disappeared and never came back to my room.
