if the lady who had such a terrible experience that she thought dr ferrell was a bad dentist, why give him even 2 stars & most of all,, why why would she return 3 times ?
not me ~one bad dental experience is enough for me,,,

The doctor and staff are incredible! The doctor is very knowledgeable and I trust his capability and skill completely. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The doctor and his staff will go out of their way to help and provide the professional and extra service that is breath of fresh air now a days.

My husband & I were in town as "Winter Texans." I had a problem with a tooth resulting in a crown replacement. The staff bent over backwards to help me resolve this issue which required a crown replacement and out-of-state insurance. The dental work was spot on and resolved all of my issues, saving me an additional $1,000 plus dollars in an unnecessary root canal, which it turns out I didn't need (recommended by my dentist in Michigan). Best dental work I've ever received in my 56 years alive! Extremely professional staff.

I recently moved to Corpus Christi. My parents highly recommended Dr. Ferrell, so I made an appointment with him. He & his staff are extremely competent & friendly. He is also very considerate of my allergy problems, which make it difficult for me to sit through long procedures.

The negative comment on this thread is clearly bitter and in my opinion is completely wrong. Dr. Ferrell has been my doctor for over 18 years and I've never had an issue. He doesn't say things condescendingly, he just has a light playful sense of humor that apparently some people don't understand. I highly recommend him!

This man is not a good dentist. I believe most of these responses are either entered by his wife or close friends. I have gone to him three times for a clean, x-rays and an exam. The second time he wasn't there for the exam part but still charged for it. The 3rd time I went back revealed a very large cavity under a crown that because of it's intensity was no doubt there at the time of the second visit. Had he been there and done the exam and actually viewed my x-rays again he would have noticed this and saved me a lot of heartache. When this issue was brought up at the third visit and the fact that I may lose a much needed tooth over it. The doctor jokingly offered 3 possibilities for repair and one was to lose the tooth. Yes JOKINGLY! This man tries to be a comedian but is just outright annoying. At one point in the conversation he again in a condescending manner he pointed to one of his teeth and said"See it may be this tooth that hurts" and then pointed at another tooth and said "But it is this tooth that is really bad" What am I, 7 years old. This man must just love stroking his ego. In another issue on my first visit he tried to push me to get a partial, three times he brought it up, and also that he wanted to cap one of my lower teeth. When I brought this back up at the 3rd visit, he said "The partial wouldn't work" and about the crown he said (Again a condescending tone) "Once you alter a tooth it's altered forever" honestly, does this guy not even write down his dental plan for you in your chart. What a mistake it was to place my trust in this man and what a disappointment.

When it comes to knowing your dentistry knowledge Dr ferrell knows it. Him and his staff are the best I had so much pain like insane root canal pain from a decayed tooth I was in and out in less then 20min. His staff was very kind and super friendly I felt as if I was at home.they even worked with me on payment I absolutely recommend this dentist because he just got this guy for life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ferrell's from the time he started practicing Dentistry in Corpus Christi. He is the best!! I just read on FB that he met a patient at his office who was in terrible root canal pain at 4:30 in the morning!!! What a guy! What a wonderful dentist. I haven't had a cavity in years. I can thank Dr. Ferrell for my beautiful smile - he put veneers on 8 top teeth and did a super job! And I recently learned he will be opening the only dental office on N. Padre Island!!
