Our experience with Dr. Yang has been life changing. After years of misdiagnoses it is extraordinary to finally be on the correct path to healing. Through acupuncture herbal remedies and NET my health has improved dramatically. After years of suffering with digestive issues and autoimmune disease I am happy to report a significant decrease in symptoms and have increased energy and a positive outlook. Thank you to Dr. Yang and the Tao Integrative Medicine practice.

I am writing this review to give the highest recommendation to Dr. Yang and his practice at Tao Integrative Medicine. As someone with a severe, debilitating illness, Dr. Yang listened to my concerns, conducted the appropriate testing and prescribed the needed treatment when conventional medicine had failed me.
Prior to meeting Dr. Yang I was at my wit’s end. I have had a rare condition since childhood that had degraded my body immensely, not only ultimately interfering with my Ph.D. studies and my ability to practice law, but also preventing me from enjoying life as I previously had. I had seen “experts” in New York and Philadelphia, to no avail. Time and time again I was met with recalcitrance, ignorance and ultimately a string of wrong diagnoses. As my condition grew worse, I continued to be met with narrow-minded thinking and physicians who were more interested in collecting data than listening to my opinions and concerns. Unfortunately, I spent many years and many dollars in that medical system with little to show for it but dwindling health and growing frustration.
In my desperation, I began to research alternative approaches. It is important to note that I research heavily any matter having to do with my health. I was predisposed to a physician with expertise in Chinese medicine, simply because I credit the Chinese medicine Qing Kai Ling with saving my life from severe pneumonia while on a trip to China. After a thorough review of the Tao Integrative Medicine website, I made an appointment. Perhaps fittingly, earlier in the day I had received messages from my Infectious Disease doctor and Gastroenterologist, both employed at a “top” medical institution in Philadelphia, refusing to provide the testing I had requested. It was time to move on.
Making an appointment with Dr. Yang was simple and the following week I met him at his Jefferson office. I found the accommodations to be much more comfortable, welcoming and warm than traditional hospitals. Unlike most physicians I’ve encountered, he listened attentively to my concerns. He was open to suggestions about how we should proceed. He recommended that I have certain testing done, testing never before recommended by any of the previous physicians I had seen. In a few weeks the results were in and a major cause, if not the root cause, of my life-long medical problems was clear. Shortly thereafter, I was prescribed the appropriate treatment and am slowly but surely, after many long years fighting conventional medicine, experiencing an improvement in my health.
I consider Dr. Yang’s knowledge and advice to be indispensable in helping me to recover my health. He has always been willing to go above and beyond to help me. In addition, I have found him to be extremely accessible if I need clarification regarding anything we have discussed. Any contention that he is rude, insensitive or otherwise unprofessional is, quite frankly, unfounded to the point of being laughable. Nothing could be further from the truth.
If you, like me, have spent years in the conventional medical system only to find dead end after dead end, please schedule an appointment with Dr. Yang. You will absolutely not be disappointed. Mainstream medicine does not have all of the answers and you owe it to yourself to explore all options.
