Dr. Hawthorne was extremely well-qualified, knowledgeable, patient, and really listened to me. It wasn't my idea to get an ADHD evaluation but he made the process very easy and helped me feel calm and comfortable. I use BC/BS fpo and both of my visits were covered. I only had to pay two co-pays with BC/BS.

I received an ADHD evaluation from Dr. Hawthorne. I felt very confident that he was well qualified to perform the evaluation. He was very careful to explain everything to me, and provided some advice on what to do to seek treatment.

Im just going share my experience with Dr. Hawthorne and let you be the judge. Ive always wanted to have an ADHD evaluation done, so I called up Dr. Hawthore and asked if my insurance would cover it, he said what it would cover is not the test but an hour long evaluation done by him. So I said that's fine and went ahead and did that thinking I would co-pay $20 as usual. Well turns out my insurance didnt cover it and so I was responsible for the entire $101 dollars he charged for an hour.... Even though he told me my insurance would cover it. So me being a 19 year old student had to pay 101 dollars out of my pocket. He didn't even offer to cut it in half or anything. I think Dr. Hawthorne cares more about his money than his patients.
