I was scheduled for a 8:15 blood draw, and had to wait for 30 minutes while another patient who was scheduled after me was seen before me. I signed in promptly at 8:15. When the attending nurse came out to bring the other patient back to take his vitals, she said, "I didn't even know you were here." Additionally, when I attempted to make Dr. Mitchell aware of this problem by emailing him immediately, it took him a week to reply. His excuse was that he wanted to fully investigate the issue. I don't have a problem with that, but at least he could have let me know his intentions, instead of leaving me hanging for a week. His practice is part of a medical concierge service that costs an additional $1800 per year. Some concierge service.

Dr Mitchell takes time to get to know his patients and treats them like they are family. His goal is your health. He's helped control my numerous medical conditions and has a higher standard than most doctors on the numbers (blood sugar, cholesterol, etc). He is knowledgeable, compassionate and very easy to talk to. I live an hour away and he is definitely worth the drive. I've been with him for about 4 years, my parents have been with him for 15-20 years. Jill, his nurse, is extremely helpful too.

Outstanding general M.D., John Mitchell has been my doctor for ten years. He will always take as much time as necessary for every patient. He is very knowledgeable and insightful, and has a great personality, putting the patient at ease.
