Dr. Patel appears burnt out. She asked inappropriate questions in related to a mutual acquaintance and prior pt of hers. She appeared agitated as I had researched type of testing my referring specialist had completed. She was condescending, when I asked about specific study done in regard to test. While I may be a provider in a different field, I think I can speak to professionalism and rapport, as well as listening to your patient. While I have to return to receive blood work results and recommendation. I received the results the day after I had them drawn. So I am very interested to see her in person, hear her advice and observe her “bed side manner”. As my main goal is to receive copies of my records, should I need another Rheumatologist. To her credit years ago, her reputation spoke for itself. I have practiced 37 yrs, My clients are the best part of my job. If that ever ceased, I would do something different.

I want Dr Patel to read this, I am very upset how your office treating us this morning. you need to rehire a better receptionist to work for you so they can handle your business in the better way than what i am dealling with this moring. I called this moring around 8:30 AM trying to make appointment but the person handle the phone this moring is horrible, My doctor already sent your office a refer yesterday, also they already fax extra copy this moring since your receptionish said she didnt recived any . she also said it will take 2 weeks to process the paper before making appoitment. she had a terrible attitude and personality. she doesnt want to help patient, now is march and i am trying to make appointment and she said she won't have any room for new patient un till the end of May. I told her that my dad is in pain so much because gout and arthritis that attacking him now, if he have to wait until May he might be die. Her answer was so many others patient are in pain too. I ask her any other way to help to my dad in pain now while we wait to see Dr Patel. she said noway. I told her if your dad is in my dad situation how would you feel. can you help then she said her dad was past a way. I immediately know this person is heartless so I hang up with really sad feeling. how these people can work for doctor.

Very rude and impatient. Gave attitude for not knowing exactly why she was referred. Attempted to charge full price and not go through insurance. Rushed me through without wanting to hear full story of condition. Sloppy nurse when drawing blood (did not remove alcohol, causing pain at extraction site).
