I have been a patient of Dr. James Stewart for over twenty-five years. I have found him to be an exceptionally professional, caring, and knowledgeable doctor who has my best interest at heart. I have always received the best service at his office. His kindness is exemplary as he makes himself available whenever needed, and provides whatever is necessary pleasantly and promptly. I wish Dr. Stewart many more years of continued success. Fresno is lucky to have him as a provider of optometric services.

I have been going to Dr. Stewart for my optometric needs for 10 years since moving to Fresno. His friendly and welcoming office is run well by Nancy and Greg. Yes, there are bigger and maybe even faster optometry offices in town but you will not find a more caring and personable group of people than Dr. Stewart, Nancy and Greg. They really care about me as a person and want to make sure I receive the best care for my eyes.

This a very friendly and welcoming environment for all your optometry needs. Dr. Stewart is personable and informative. He just doesn't diagnose and prescribe vision correction but he also explains the cause and reason behind vision changes. He is a wealth of knowledge and knows how to put his patients at ease. Nancy and Greg make up the support staff and demonstrate this through their efficient and competent handling of scheduling, billing, and technical support. I strongly recommend Dr. James Stewart Optometry in Fresno.

Although Dr Stewart is a knowledgeable eye Dr I found him to use the eye exam as a platform to promote himself .. He said and did things I did not quite understand.. Talked about me modeling glasses for his business..talked about how young he looked..was this flirting or trying to establish rapport?.. I don't know.. After a miscommunication I found both he and his female receptionist to be a bit manipulative and rude whe I only wanted a prescription and not their limited supply of discontinued glasses.

First time in his office and I have to say he confirm what I suspected, my previous eye prescription was wrong all this time.His the only doctor that listen to what I was telling him about my headaches and he actually checked my old glasses to compare his strength with the ones in my glasses. He such a wise and experience doctor,you could tell he actually cares and is not just doing this for money. I really recommende Dr.Stewart.

This doctor my family is going to for 13years now. He has been great my children like him and he has help my four children excel in school with great grade due to their vision thanks Doc!
