As an RN, I am very particular when it comes to medical or dental care. I took my son in to have his decayed molar extracted. I had several consultations with other oral surgeons and was dreading the thought of paying for an implant and crown. So when Dr. Gass recommended that we transplant his wisdom tooth to use instead of an implant, I was dumbfounded. That was eight months ago and I did not want to write a review until I knew it would work. It looks like the original tooth. No other surgeon that I consulted with recommended this. Rachel at the front desk was very kind, soft-spoken and humble. Dr. Gass seemed truly interested in what was best for my son. Best decision I ever made was seeing Dr. Gass.

I was very nervous for my son to have his wisdom teeth removed. I was referred to Dr Gass's office. From the start the office staff helped us navigate this process and Dr Gass explained what to expe t from the procedure. They really helped! Everything went smoothly! It was a great experience!

Dr Gas does not stand behind his word or his work, the office manger is so rude, I would NEVER recommend this office, if it was the last one left on earth, absolutely terrible experience all the way around.

If you need oral surgery, go to Dr. Gass! I never write reviews online, but this is a very special case. Dr. Gass is the most honest, ethically-driven doctor I've ever had the good fortune of meeting (and I've heard quite a few stories about lousy, dishonest ones here in the Phoenix area, so you need to be careful!). With Dr. Gass, you never need to worry that you are being cheated or overcharged. He kept telling me ways that I could save money! I could tell he valued my well-being over his own profit. His concern for me was obvious in the surgery too. I was nervous at first about getting my wisdom teeth out, because all of my co-workers were telling me how terrible it was. They said that I would be out for weeks. Dr. Gass assured me there was nothing to worry about. And he was right! I went back to work the very next day, fully recovered. My co-workers were shocked. That kind of recovery, they said, is virtually unheard of. Dr. Gass is an excellent oral surgeon.

I had a tooth pulled by Dr. Gass. He was very friendly as was all the staff. I was in and out of the office in 20 minutes flat. He gave me a numbing shot and had started pulling on the tooth in what seemed like 2-3 minutes. I was concerned that this wasn't enough time to numb the area, but he knew what he was doing and had told me prior to starting to yank on it (3 times in total before it was out) that it numbs in the direct surrounding area and works quicker than most numbing shots people get, which was true! Thank you so much for the fast, friendly and excellent care.

I was very nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed. I went to multiple surgeons to get quotes on how much they will charge and how they will do the procedure. Being that I am in the medical field and know about wisdom teeth removal and use of anesthia I am selective with whom I chose. Other surgeons wanted to over medicate me and one wanted to fill a wisdom tooth socket with grafting material which is a total waste! Then I found Dr. Gass!!!!! Finally an ethical surgeon who didnt want to over medicate or bill me. My surgery went well and I was fortunate my body did not develop a dry socket. I healed fast... I had the sugery on Thursday and return to work on Monday:) His honesty and ability as a surgeon was refreshing. My son needs his wisdom teeth removed in July and I am taking him to Dr. Gass without a doubt!!!

Dr. Gass is the most honest, ethical doctor I’ve ever had the good luck to meet (and I’ve heard quite a few stories about lousy, dishonest ones here in the Phoenix area, so you need to be careful!). With Dr. Gass, you never need to worry that you are being cheated and overcharged. How can I tell? He kept telling me ways that I could save money! If a doctor keeps suggesting ways for you to pay him less money, you know that he values your well-being over his own profit. His concern for me was obvious in the surgery too. I was nervous at first about getting my wisdom teeth out, because all of my co-workers were telling me how terrible it was. They said that I’d be out for weeks. Dr. Gass assured me there was nothing to worry about. And he was right! I went back to work the very next day, fully recovered. My co-workers were shocked. That’s how talented this man is at oral surgery. Dr. Gass is an excellent doctor and I count myself very fortunate to have found him.

Thank you, thank you, Dr. Gass. I had my two bottom wisdom teeth extracted a few weeks ago, and the experience was far different than I imagined it would be. First, I couldn't believe how quick the surgery was. The best part, however, was that I had NO PAIN!!! I prepared everything ahead, expecting I would be unable to do anything for two days. This was not the case. I did take it easy and nap some, but the medication didn't knock me out. I am usually very sensitive to medication, but it didn't bother me. I didn’t even take much of the hydrocodone he prescribed. I don't know how he did it, but I had NO SWELLING either. My husband took the day off work to take care of me. He has had many teeth extracted and his experiences have been nightmares. I really think he was amazed to see how well I did. Thank you for calling that first night to check up on me and writing a follow up letter. Doctors don't seem to do those things any more.I would highly recommend Dr Gass for oral surgery.

Dr. Gass spent little to no time answering my questions before I had a tooth pulled. In the little time that was spent with me he was extremely rude. Outside of being in the chair the only interaction I had with him was when I signed the consent form. I have since gone to a recent oral surgeon who stated that Dr. Gass should have filled the empty socket with born material for a future implant. Again Dr. Gass did not inform me of any of this prior, or during one subsequent visit (I had to go back as I had dry socket). I have also been told by a couple of other dentists in the valley that Dr. Gass has a very poor reputation. I would highly suggest that people avoid going to his office.

Doctor Gass is one of the most honest and moral surgeons I know, I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing oral or maxillofacial surgery! Not only does he have over 29 years experience but he also TRIES to save you money! I didn't know this before but most surgeons actually UP-charge which means they classify a procedure as being more work then it really is so they can get more money! Other surgeons also charge for an hour of general anethesia when all four wisdom teeth only take 20 minutes to take out!! If you need any oral surgery, get a quote from another surgeon then see Dr. Gass and YOU'LL BE AMAZED at the difference!!
