My Uncle is a patient of Dr Engstrom and we wait in the ER yet a 3rd time waiting for him to clear the confusion...With absolutely no sign of this so called physician. And now that I read patient reviews I see why. We had to hear from an ER physician that he wasn't going to be alive much longer. Still no sign of Engstrom. Oncology is a field that requires compassion, of which apparently this Dr has none based our experience and what other patients are saying. We have an appointment for 4 days from now while the patient is awaiting a hospice transfer in poor condition. Dr Engstrom is on call tonight and was called for a consult over 10 hours ago.

I was a patient of this doctor for a year and was very unhappy with the way I was treated by staff and doctor. No one answers the phone when you call the office, you have to leave a msg and then it takes them on the avg of 7 days to return the call, this is hard when u r trying to get meds refilled or have pain caused by cancer. I had a PET scan done to see if my cancer had returned, its been over two weeks and still don't have results, was told last week the results were on his desk and he would call me...they dont realize the affect this has on a person...waiting to see if my life will be turned upside down again...THE RESULTS ARE ON HIS DESK! How long does it take to make a phone call???
