My husband went in for knee pain. He had an accident when he was 18 and the old injury flared up. She didn't even look at his knee. Nothing at all. Just said, "right knee pain, lets get an xray". xray came back normal. She then said MRI. The insurance denied MRI due to not enough clinical info and no record of old injury. She told us that the insurance required 6 rounds of physial therapy before the mri would be approved, which was a lie. He needed to see an orthopedic dr and she would not refer him with out the mri and would not even consider letting him see a pain management dr either. He suffered through 3 rounds of pt with severe pain and didnt go back. i have since found a wonderful, smart dr. He actually looked at his knee and gave a dx of internal derangement of knee. He gots the mri approved in 1 day, mri results are he is missing his medial discs. And Dr. evans-woods had the balls to say he couldn't possibly be in pain. Dr. Bernstein is the best.

I have been spoken to rudely before. But I have NEVER been talked down to like a piece of trash as i was when i went to see this doctor. never again. The entire staff of the evans-woods facility was rude. I was in pain and they treated me like a addict or something, and i have never done drugs or been in trouble with the law, ever. they were wrong. Also, her eyes were very glassy, perhaps she is the addict???

After being checked by A nurse, I was left waiting in the exam room for over 1 hour and fifty minutes before being seen by the doctor. There was only one other person in the waiting room when I was there, so it was not as if they were busy. I finally went and got a nurse, who then brought Dr. Woods in to examine me. She took one look and told me that I had one of the worst cases of strep throat she has ever seen. My tonsils were so swollen I barely had a passageway for air. She prescribed me amoxacillion. When it was filled, the pills were extrememly large. I tried to break in half, but they were so sharp. Called back to see if she could prescribe a smaller dosage, and I would just take two. Her response. "You'll just have to find a way to make them go down, Period." I had to beg her to call in a new prescription. She FINALLY agreed after being rude. Had my husband pick it up. She had never called it in. Called her office back, everyone had gone home.

I'm new to the area and visited this doctor to have a prescription renewed (Wellbutrin, for depression). She was rude, barely listened to me, and spent about 3 minutes with me. She was highly reluctant to write a new prescription, and instead tried to talk me into having my thyroid checked. However she did not ask if I have any other symptoms that could be related to a thyroid abnormality, nor do I have any. I got the impression that she has a bit of an inflated ego, and did not like the fact that I was already diagnosed and being successfully treated by a different doctor. I have since found another doctor who, thankfully, is pretty much her exact opposite.
