Dr. Kim is the best psychiatrist in my opinion. My husband had a very bad experience with his previous mental health professional/psychiatrist. Dr. Kim is sincerely concerned with your well being. He explains what you need to know about the medications he prescribes and follows up with blood tests to monitor side effects. His availability is exceptional. Dr. Kim will return your call as soon as he can, usually within 1 hour. He makes his own appointments so there isn’t any chance of overlap or miscommunication and we never have to wait in the office. My husband has been his patient for more than 4 years and don’t see any reason to ever stop his treatment/sessions with Dr. Kim. One last comment, Dr. Kim is willing to change medications and will try keeping the medicines to a minimum.
