I would like to express my reservations regarding my experience with Dr. Maria Quinones and her practice. It is with disappointment that I report issues related to time management and staffing within the practice. During my visits, I frequently observed patients waiting for extended periods, often exceeding an hour beyond their scheduled appointment time. This prolonged wait time can be attributed, in part, to the practice being understaffed, notably following the departure of Dr. Quinones’ sister, a fellow physician. This has regrettably contributed to the high wait times experienced by patients.

Furthermore, it has come to my attention that the practice appears to prioritize productivity over the delivery of quality patient care. In one particular instance, when I expressed my frustration regarding the extended wait time, Dr. Quinones responded in a condescending manner, stating that the lengthy wait times were to be expected due to her sister’s absence.

I must also bring to your attention a concerning interaction during my last visit. Dr. Quinones made an inappropriate comment when discussing my blood work, scolding me by stating, ‘If you don’t take Vitamin B12, you’re going to become demented.’ Such remarks are unprofessional and should not be tolerated in the doctor-patient relationship.

Lastly, it has been over a week and a half since my last visit, during which I was promised a referral to see a specialist. Despite two follow-up calls requesting the referral to be sent, it has not been actioned. This delay in providing necessary medical referrals reflects poorly on the practice’s commitment to patient care and follow-through on promised services.

In conclusion, due to the lack of professional and compassionate care I do not recommend Dr. Maria Quinones and her practice.

Scheduled a PHYSICAL and was charged a routine visit ... Which means my insurance does not cover. Called the office Gladis Quinones who believes is a doctor but is just a PA came on the phone. Screaming at me and being very rude telling me they would not change the diagnosis code. I told her I would know if I was sick and we were NOT there for illness but for a ROUTINE PHYSICAL. She completely ignored my argument and what I had to say she kept yelling at me and then proceeded to HANG THE PHONE on me !! Completely rude, unprofessional and thoughtless to the patients. As a person in the healthcare field I would never talk to someone like that or even argue that they are lying. What kind of patient care is that??? BE CAREFUL WITH THIS OFFICE ... Know your insurance because they will make false charges . Gladis Quiñones grosera no es profesional y se cree la doctora y NO ES DOCTORA!! Me tiró el teléfono y me grito. Me cobran cosas que no son!! NO IR A ESTA OFICINA !!

She over treats, overprescribes medication and treatment. Then when you really need treatment she refers you to specialists for simple but needed treatment!

Dr. Quinones declines to treat patients 60 years of age and older. This is age discrimination.

Inefficient, unhelpful, forgetful. She has a track record of forgetting things. Not a good characteristic to have in this field
