I have been seeing Dr. Matefy on and off since I was a teen. He has been like a father figure to me. He has an amazing way of helping you understand and deal with issues that arise. He gives you the tools to see and learn things instead of just telling you what to do. His ability to observe and decipher acute crisis and handle them with a calming effect. His guidance has helped me tremendously.

I've been seeing Dr. Matefy for a couple of years. He has always told me the truth (even when I didn't want to hear it) and has given me rational advice that has helped me. I feel 1000 times better than when I first came to see him. I highly recommend him if you never have been to a psychologist before.

DR. Matefy is an excellent therapist. I have been seeing him for a long time. he's helped me through some tough times.he helped me deal with both my parents deaths ahd how to talk ot my children about it.also how to say goodbye to my mom. plus he deals with my personal issues also. he's always a phone call away if I need him. he's honest and insightful and knows what he's talking about. plus he has a great smile and he's written articles that are thought provoking. I rate him a 10+.
