This is the second time I went to see him I have to have all of my teeth removed due to another doctor over prescribing steroids. All of my teeth cracked. I need 18 teeth extracted and my gums will have to be cut open. I am petrified. I asked to be sedated. He told me that my airways were not big enough for him so he would give me some Novacaine amd maybe some sweet air and then it would be an hour to cut open my gums, top and bottom from left to right I’d like to know how many people out there would be ok with some Novacaine and sweet air and have their gums ripped open and teeth taken out .
He is condescending and the young lady in the front office is passive, aggressive and nasty. I called to make my second appointment, not realizing that he was the same doctor and I asked why I had to have to have another consultation when he knows damn well what I needed done and I still had to weeks for an appointment. When I asked her if there was any way i could come in sooner as I wanted to get in as soon as possible due to pain and fear and she told me Well you can go find somebody else, I would give this Dentist and the office a -10!!!!!
I would like to rip open his gums and take all his teeth and he can let me know how he feels!!!!!
He act as though he’s doing you a favor, and between the doctor, and the lady who is extremely rude and full of herself at the front desk!!!!!
You couldn’t pay me to go back there. And I am handicapped he treated me as though I was less than.
I’d like to see him lose his license and the office close.
Oral surgery can be very scary and it’s the Dentist job to make you feel safe and comfortable and they do anything but. I was extremely sad, and he took pleasure in my fear. You could see it in his face. I have several family members in the medical field. I’m gonna see what I can do about making sure that he stops taking pleasure out of his patience fear he definitely has a God complex for sure!!!!!!

As others have written here, the office is nothing short of a Zoo. They did not file medicaid papers correctly and instead of refiling correctly they decided to put a senior on a fixed income in for collection. They know I can't pay but they have decided to hurt me anyway. The dentist who referred me to them has used this same medicaid card before my visit the the Zoo and after my visit to the Zoo. With so many good dentists around why use Hallaian.
Follow up. 3 years and they are still sending bills for $20. Seems to me they spend hundreds of dollars trying to collect $20 from a senior citizen. The time and postage of billing for 3 years probably adds up to more than the lousy 20 bucks they are intent to hurt my credit rating over. Again, why go to this Zoo, as others have correctly stated.

I don't even know where to start with this practice!!!!! the receptionist or "front desk person" is RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!! I would give this office negative stars if i could!!! Now i see why this office ONLY has 3 stars. I've wasted 2 weeks with this office just for them to cancel my appointment the day of which is less than a 24 hour notice!!! The doctor's "excuse" was, he didn't feel comfortable extracting my teeth given they were near my sinuses. Meanwhile, they've had my chart and information prior to my appointment!!! The excuse that the RUDE front desk woman gave me is total BS!! I honestly think that they just didn't want to help me because of how I look. Talk about discrimination!!! I feel extremely discriminated against given that there was only 1 type of clientele who entered the office while I was there. The only nice person that wanted to help me was Samantha who handles the claims. When I walked out of my consultation the front desk woman threw my papers on Samantha's desk and said "your claim will be sent out on Monday" I call on Monday and then the same person tells me, "your claim will be sent out Friday" REALLY? I'M IN PAIN AND THIS IS YOUR RESPONSE????? SHE WAS VERY UNCARING AND UN-SINCERE. I DON'T KNOW WHY SHE EVEN ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THE FRONT DESK!!!!! SHE EVEN ENDED UP ARGUING WITH ME AS THE PATIENT ON THE PHONE!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE AND SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN THIS SORT OF BUSINESS WHERE YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO CARE FOR PATIENTS!!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE REPRIMANDED!!! I expressed my frustration with them about the way the situation was handled and i got no remorse from them. I told the EXTREMELY RUDE woman at the front desk that I will make sure not to recommend patients to go there and I will inform my dentist this immediately! She replied as "THEY WILL COME HERE!! EVERYONE ALWAYS COMES TO US!! As if they're the best Oral surgeons in Smithtown!! Do yourself and your family the favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!!!!

I never got the chance to meet him. I had an appointment today to set up multiple extractions. They told me to come in early to fill out paperwork. I came in a half hour early (2:00). There was three other people in the waiting room, one waiting on her husband, one waiting for extractions, one who had an appointment at 2. Paperwork took 10 min. I heard one person at the front desk talking to someone about buying a car. All the while no one told me they were running late, or anything. The one who's been waiting since 2 finally got called in at 3:00. I was not waiting any longer. I had my wife get the referral back and I left. They had the nerve to call me a half hour later wondering why I left. I do not recommend.

I asked him a question and he turned back and snapped "That's why I recommended what I did". After the examination I called to tell him about avery serious health concern that I had and asked to speak with him for a minute whenever he was availble. I was told that he was in surgery, and when I asked when he would be available, I was told a nurse would call me back. No one called back. Finally, after another call. I had to tell the personal information to the secretary, who said someone would call me back. Someone did call me and it was the secretary who said she told him and he put a note in my file. I was scheduled to have a procedure done, and specifically said I did not want to have the procedure done without first speaking with the doctor, having my concerns heard, and getting some feedback. Instead, the secretary said they would more the procedure up one week EARLIER! I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.
