this man is no Doctor he is a crook !!! and Crooks belong in jail

Dr. Howard Futerman is very professional, has a wonderful bedside manner and is extremely considerate and punctual. Joan, who is the office manager, is always pleasant towards me. I feel comfortable in this office and I am continuously grateful that I was recommended to this office.

This office is horrible. The receptionist is extremely unprofessional, never answers the phone and refuses to let you speak to the doctor. She makes up false appointments and when you explain you never had an appointment, she continues to bill you for missed appointments and when you try to fight it she refuses to speak to you and then sends you to collections. This was a horrific experience and I do not recommend anyone going here.

I really appreciated that the doctor took me on time, especially when I couldn't miss a huge work meeting. Great doctor! He accurately diagnosed my problem and I feel so much better on the treatment he gave me. I really liked his office. Everything was nice and clean and bright. Even the magazines in the waiting room were pretty new for a doctors office.

Just the best! He was so helpful to me in treating my problem, when so many other doctors before failed. The doctor was really patient with me even though I tend to ramble and he was really thorough. I liked that he saw me at my appointment time and I didn't have to fill out a thousand forms. The secretary was also very nice. I highly recommend him.

Joan "office manager/receptionist" incompetent was never told there is a 24 hour cancellation fee. Called office numerous times and never received a call back, spoke to Joan each time. They sent my bill to collection. I am filing a complaint with the NYS Department of Health.

Dr. Futerman was great! He listened carefully to my tale of woe and performed a thorough exam. He ordered a bunch of tests which he went over on my next visit. The medication he prescribed has really helped. I couldn't believe how many diplomas he has. The staff was good too, and even didn't freak when I changed my last appointment like 3 times. I can see why he has so many patients judging by the waiting room. Bottom line: I was really impressed, and he really helped me.

Worst doctor in the world! Worst staff in the world including the rude lady who answers the phone who says she is the office manager. Was billed 150 for a no show visit. I was a new patient called two days before appt to cancel because of impending inclement weather, when I received bill I immediately called and spoke to the " office manager" she basically told me I was a liar and their office never makes a mistake! Please do yourself a favor avoid this doctor like the plague. There are better doctors out there in the same area.

Doctor schedule appointments without patient consent and then billed $50.00 for a "missed" visit. Doctor refused to reverse charges, indicating patient was mandated to make an appointment.

staff was rude and mean while i was watiting for blood test results. dr. seemed as though he didn't know what he was doing so i brought my mother with me to confirm my feelings. she thought i was right so i found a new doc at HSS. needless to say the new doc also confirmed i wasn't crazy stating that i should have been on treatment for months at this point. dr. futerman just kept having me come back for useless visits and kept prescribing me more pain killers. now i'm hoping that the damage that has been done to my hands and feet isn't permanent. please be aware before you take this doctor's advice.
