Mean spirited doctor who marvels in delivering bad news. Basically told me I would live a life of complete decline because of my type 1 diabetes. I was depressed for months over this and even had to get on an antidepressant because I couldn’t get her pessimistic diagnosis out of my head. I’m only 27 and she made me feel like I would be dead by 50. She also was very aware of how scared I was and she offered no reassurance at all. In fact she seemed to enjoy double downing on the negativity. Turns out, after seeing three endochronologists, everything she said was false. Do not visit this doctor. She will act as if she’s giving it to you straight when in reality she just feels good about delivering bad news. Very smug and unfriendly.

Not interested in helping the patient. Seems smug and dismissive. Could be the way Kaiser Permanente focuses on NUMBERS instead of human beings, but she should follow her instinct and do what she became a physician to do. Instead, she's just making Kaiser wealthier.
