Dr. Adams and his nursing assistant provided very low quality of care. They appeared lazy, unmotivated, and incompetent during my appointment. They made me wait ONE HOUR AND A HALF for a simple vaccination even though THERE WERE NO OTHER PATIENTS.

I agree with all the previous comments that Dr. Adams is very helpful, knowledgable, experienced. He gave me all the time I needed in my recent visit 9/6/13. And the very next day he followed up with a phone call about my lab results and fphoned in immediately a prescription to my pharmacy and answered all my questions. He is now with Metro Immediate Primary Care in Silver Spring MD.

Last visited office in District Heights, after being fortunate enough to find him (having known him when I had Kaiser). Called the office to get follow-up on medication authorization and disappointed to learn he was gone. I'd like to find him again as the PCPs I've seen in the wake have been border-line incompetent. PLEASE, Dr. Adams, if you Google and read this...let us know where you are!

I met Dr, Adams at Riverside Primary Care Office in District Hgts, MD, around 10/2010, after my physician of 8 years departed abruptly. Dr. Adams was knowledgeable, caring, and took time to address my questions. He gave me confidence that together we could address all of my fears about my undiagnosed problems, as his many years of pharmaceutical and medical experience aided me in finding specialists to assist me in my care. After a few months, I knew I could move forward without him, but I felt better when I updated him. Like the reviewers before me, I also found that Dr. Adams would leave a medical office in a heartbeat, as he left the Riverside Primary Care Office in 03/2011, without giving me any notice. I wish him well, and trust he will, as always, land on his excellent, experienced feet. Experience, caring, Physicians, don't come easy. Dr. Adams his worth. Riverside Primary Care have had many problems before his arrival, and since his departure. All the best to you, Dr. Adams!

I was Dr Adams patient while he was with Kaiser. I was very sorry to learn that he left. I was Dx with cancer and I trusted everything he said. He always made me feel as if I was the only patient he had. I have been cancer free for several years now and am sure his influence had a lot to do with it. If I ever leave Kasier, I will have him for my primary physician again.

Dr. Roscoe Adams was a wonderful doctor while at Kaiser Permanente. He was thorough, professional, caring, had excellent bedside manner, and I trusted him. It's not often to find a doctor that you can believe in implicitly. I was sorry to see him leave Kaiser Permanente. I highly recommend him and if I ever leave Kaiser, I will definitely use his services.

I had Dr. Adams for close to 20 years, in Greenbelt, but like many others, called for an appt. only to find out that his office was closed, phone disconnected and at that time the office was locked up and closed. I was never able to get my records to transfer to my new doctor, and after having been in a coma in 2001 for many days, would have liked to have my records for my current doctor. Never got a message from him or his office regarding moving or retiring or what happened to him. Disappointing, as in my opinion he was a very good doctor, very personable and gave you the time you needed to discuss matters with him. It's just a shame they never notified their patients if he did move his practice and I would love to get my records. Only real drawback other than that was his recept. that was with him for many years was unfriendly and rude most of the time.

Dr Adams was an excellent doctor, i followed him where ever he went over the years. However, in November 2007 he abruptly closed his office and there has not been a word from him. I have tried to get my medical records from him since I have moved out of Maryland, I need my records for my new doctor. Overall Dr. Adams was the best doctor in the world as for as i was comcerned, I refered many of my friends and co-workers to Dr. Adams. His new patients will be very happy with him as a doctor.

I agree with the previous rating. Dr. Adams 'was' excellent. But, terminating his service with no notice has caused problems, notwithstanding the inablitity to obtain records. I have since found another excellent general physician and no longer will seek Dr. Adams services. If he is indeed with Kaiser, it's probably the best that has ever happened to them and the worst for him.
