Disgusting human being that is a pay to play psychologist that copies/paste whomever is paying words into his observation. He makes up diagnosis, denies actual medical diagnosis and perjured his statements to fit the narrative of who is paying. He has already had his license suspended once and it should be stripped from him to stop further harm to families. When you are sent an hour away even though your city has numerous psychologists,
Something is wrong!

This is the type of Dr you can trust. He never rushes you but somehow always is ready on time. Great receptionist and always gets back to me when I need him.

I have read countless evaluations from Dr. Yates in my profession in which he assesses individuals for disabilities and makes recommendations for academic planning and academic accommodations to aid students in achieving success in secondary and post secondary academic settings. His reports are always thorough and helpful. So when I decided to have an evaluation done for my daughter I chose him.. He was kind and thorough. He recommendations were constructive. I would definately recommend his services.

Do not use this man. If you want your child w the best parent then stay away. Lies and changes his opinion based on who pays him more.

Phill R Yates, this individual needs to stop acting as if he believes ‘IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD! His best interest is money. Due to his report, our children were taken from me (primary) and made to live with their father (whom had no bonding time due to his own decisions) and as a result of that decision one of my daughters is now on the street and doing drugs with stranger men. The other daughter has panic attacks and is dealing with a food disorder. Yates recommended the father as the better parent even though his own mom testified against her son. Yates destroyed the lives of 3 beautiful young girls (twin 6 yr olds and 9 yr old) when he named me as the parent who would alienate the other. Boy did he miss the mark on that one!!! I thought there had to of been a mistake, but I wasn’t the one signing his name to the check. If you have a choice, don’t use the individual. I wouldn’t give him one star!!!!!!

My family went to Doctor Yates when I was an adolescent for family therapy. His advice to my parents allowed my abuse to continue for years undetected. He wouldn’t listen to me, because I was a child, and wasn’t the one paying him. I’ve seen another wonderful therapist since. Seriously though, if you want genuine help, avoid this man. He’s only in it for the money.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Yates for a second time. He was very professional and listened to my unique situation during my divorce and is now guiding me through a very stressful time after a serious medical situation. I appreciate his caring and insightful responses to my condition. I have been to other psychiatrists and his demeanor is pleasant and peaceful.

Dr. Yates guided me through an extremely difficult problem in my family. He actually listened without judgement and helped me learn ways to cope with painful events. I always left his office feeling more hopeful. I will go back to him in a heartbeat as situations arise. He is a good man.
