I could barely move or walk when I went to see this doctor. Like others have said, the exam was brief and not thorough at all. I know he had his mind made up and and knew what to say in the report before my exam. My baby using his toy medical kit provides a more thorough exam.

As others have stated, if you are going to be evaluated by this rubber stamp DR on behalf of the insurance companies, that like to employ the delay, deny, and defend tactics, it would be wise to bring a recorder of some kind.

Do not go to this so-called doctor! He thinks of himself smarter than 10 other doctors I saw. Totally a hired gun. (Google "hired gun" and read the very first definition that comes up.) Does not even think it is necessary to get PT after surgery which is by definition malpractice. Also thinks he is smarter than ongoing 200 years of scientific studies that prove the contrary to his assessment. Should undoubtedly be sued for malpractice based on multiple complaints from patients as documented on this site.

One of the most uncaring doctors I had ever seen. He also made a false statement on the medical report. He claimed that I had a injury that I didn't even after telling him I didn't injure that part of my body. If it were not for him working for workers comp. insurance he would never make it as a real doctor. So people if you have a problem DON'T go to see him you would be better off going to a veterinarian. The MRI I had shows 2 muscle tear he said that I can go back to work and told the insurance and the insurance cut me off. Now i am in nightmare trying to get medical treatment. I think anyone how was looked at by Dr. Rubinfeld we should get together and file a malpractice suit.

This doctor has no bedside manners, does not seem to care about the patient whatsoever and will not care to even discuss the prognosis properly. Judging by previous reviews, I am not surprised of my experience. Please do yourself a favor and look for another doctor.

I was treated by Dr. Kelly of the hosp. special surgery in NYC. #1 orthopedic. Dr. made a diagnosis and then had MRI taken that agreed with his diagnosis. I had a torn labrum in my left shoulder. This was very painful. Dr Rubinfeld saw me for workers comp and said this condition did not exist. My worker comp was cut and no medical was to be paid for an operation. I used my private insurance to get another opinion that of Dr. Levine another world renowned orthopedic specialist from the Columbia University of NYC. Dr Levine is the Director of Sports Medicine and Associate Director Center for shoulder, elbow & Sports Medicine Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery.Dr Levine agreed with Dr. Kelly’s diagnosis and the MRI. Dr. Levine recently operated on my left labrum. I have the opinion of 2 of the world’s best surgeons and the DR that read the MRI and the horrible pain in my shoulder to prove that Dr. Rubinfeld is a horrible doctor that deprived me of getting timely and proper treatment.
