He knew that the hospital did not take my insurance, but did not bother to let me know this then once he found out after hoping they would take my insurance at some meeting that he never told me about they never called me again I had to call them to find all this out that they drop me

Dr Spielman did a Laminectomy Disectomy on me and all the pain was gone the moment I woke from surgery. Before surgery pain was so intense I could barely walk and was only sleeping two hours a night. Immediately upon waking after surgery all the pain was gone and I was able to finally walk normal again. I’m back to biking, jogging, hiking, weight training, and enjoying time with my family without all the pain. Dr. Spielman performed a similar surgery on me five years ago with the same results. He is a true miracle worker. He is truly a gift from God!

He may be an amazing surgeon but his attitude and patient relations are atrocious.

Dr. Spielman performed my microdiscectomy a little less than 3 weeks ago. I was a mess in constant agony with little to no sleep. The surgery has improved my quality of life immeasurably. I’m me again and I owe it all to this amazing surgeon.

My wife is very happy with Dr. Spielman. She was seen for back pain, he took care of it. A co worker of mine had a spinal surgery performed by Dr. Spielman and he seems to have total movement now. Very pleased with Dr. Spielman. We will see him for next orthopedic issue.

Dr Spielman has a terrible temper and he yelled at me. He was extremely abusive and upset me terribly he did not help with my condition. He behaved like a jerk.

Dr. Joel Spielman is as good as they come performing surgeries relating to spine from cervical to lumbar and beyond. Extremely professional and bedside manner is what I would hope for from a Doctor who is going perform surgery on my spine. He always finds the time to explain any procedure so that a patient can understand what is soon going to happen to his body. I highly recommend Dr. Spielman without any hesitation. Most people are too scared but the longer you wait the more difficult it becomes. NO WORRIES HERE, MAKE THE CALL AND DO IT YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID. Scooter
