So rare that a doctor takes the time to listen, communicate, and thoroughly test. I spent years with other doctors, being rushed out the door, treating symptoms... Dr. Madden is about finding the cause. Great personality, very intelligent, personable, and great with his staff. A rare find.

I had the horrible misfortune of being misdiagnosed with epilepsy by this doctor. I was just 32 years old at the time. Actually it was his nurse who "diagnosed" me, he didn't even have the courtesy to see me and confirm the diagnosis. They put me on hefty medication that made me very sick and it was hard to care for my 3 children. They were so dismissive and cold. Thank GOD for second opinions. I got my life back and was able to come off the meds because I DO NOT have epilepsy. I WOULD NOT recommend this practice to anyone.

First time reviewing a Dr. Dr. Madden was without a doubt the most exceptional Dr. I have ever seen. And trust me, I have had over 15 surgeries and have been diagnosed with numerous physical problems. Go see him, He cares more than any medical professional I've seen.

I found Doctor Madden to be one of the most personal and professional doctors around. He is a great listener, very patient and thorough, and spoke to me in a manner in which I could understand. I believe that after all the doctors I have seen over the last 6 years for help, doctor Madden will find the problem, diagnose, and treat my problem. I would highly recommend Doctor Madden to anyone who is need of a great Neurologist.

I found Dr. Madden to be exceptional as doctor, diagnostician, and equally importantly as a human being. I was grateful to find that in a world where we bow to the wisdom of machines to determine the extent of human illness, injury and suffering there are still doctors and doctor's staff that can see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears. Given that there were tools in our ancient caves and that many unsuccessful human communities had many tools, contemporary science is revealing creatures with tools and no ability to observe, read, interpret or empathize with man or beast did not survive. The common factor in survival of the fittest was not tools but wolves and it wasn't we who adopted the wolves but the wolves that adopted us. Successful wolves observed and read us. Successful diagnosticians too aren't ruled by the machine but use the tool as a tool while respecting our human abilities to observe and read fellow man. Dr. Madden took great time and his staff was excellent.

I had the horrible misfortune of being misdiagnosed with epilepsy by this doctor...actually his assistant Lee diagnosed me and had Dr Madden call me in a prescription for anticonvulsants. He didn't even see me after my "diagnosis". I'm not even sure he reviewed the EEG that Lee did. What followed was 3 months of being on hefty doses of medications I didn't need and getting very, very sick. I'm 32 and have children and it was extremely difficult to care for them while on these medications. By the grace of God I found another neurologist with far more experience who agreed that I absolutely did not have epilepsy and he slowly weaned me off the medication. It's been over a year and I feel excellent! I'd avoid this doctor like the plague. The other reviewers were right, Lee runs the office and Dr Madden cares more about talking about how fabulous he is then caring for his patients. I regret ever setting foot in his office.

I rated Dr. Madden and his staff with all 'best' numbers because I feel they all went above and beyond helpfulness. Besides being so very knowledgeable, the Dr. and his Asst. truly took an interest in our situation in trying to find a solution. We have a hope that we didn't have when walking into the appointment and I truly am grateful for that.
