Horrible doctor - run fast & far away . He's not the only geriatric Psych doctor in town. He over- medicated my mother when she was a facility for a condition she did not have. He claimed he personally examined my mother when he didn't realize that my aunt was there visiting my mom at the same time, my aunt observed that he never even spoke to my mom, let alone examined her. Ruza lies, he is condescending, arrogant and a huge narcissist. My nephew went to visit my mom one day and he called in a panic saying that something wasn't right with my mom. My mother was rushed to the hospital barely conscious. Once she was detoxed from the overmedicating from Ruza she was a completely different person. While being overmedicated she did not speak, she slept most of the time, and stared into space. Upon going off the medication she was alert, slept at the appropriate times and could carry on a conversation. When we approached Ruza during a family meeting I think facility, the staff at the facility kept their mouth shut because I assume they were fearful that because of his position he could get them all fired. He sat there and lied to our faces. He yelled and screamed at us as if we were the most misbehaved children. I don't know why he is still in practice and, more importantly why he still has a license. Thankfully he's no longer in charge of the geriatric psych unit at Botsford - I'm not sure if they still have one. I know of about 10 other people who have had similar experiences and banned him from seeing their loved ones.

Dr. Ruza is one of the best physicians and overall human being. He took the best care of my loved one and I would trust him with my care again. Truly a gem of a person. Thank you Dr. Ruza.

Dr. Ruza is a kind and patient doctor. He is well mannered and addressed my family in a cordial manner that made me and family feel very comfortable. He is direct and tells you the information you need to know without sugar coating or dodging around the topic. I recommend him to all my family and a friends that are in need.

I do not think this doctor is playing with a full deck of cards. He walks like a horse with a broken leg. He has a weird twinkle in his left eye which may indicate he has very low testosterone and probably should seek his own treatment.

I was deeply troubled by this doctor. He said some terrible things about my family to my face. I was shocked at his conduct and when I asked him to please stop he continued and continued. He wanted to upset me for no good reason at all. I just can not figure out this guy and how weird he is.

I told him to never prescribe medicine to my child at all. so what does he do, he orders it for my son and now he has become addicted to pills.. I do not think that is ethical

This guy is dazed and confused. he kept calling me someone else's name and when I corrected him he got angry and swore at me. he then called me terrible names. I told him to stop and he wouldn't. what a wack job.... He later apologized and said he just took 3 xanax and had several glasses of wine for lunch and he was flying high as a kite. This guy knows very little about psychiatry. all he cares about is grabbing your credit card and over billing his client
