Dr Steele is wonderful. He has been extremely helpful, caring and compassionate since I have been seeing him. He is very patient and I never feel rushed or that he is in a hurry. The front office staff is also great, very compasionate and caring.

I had this doctor a number of years ago and at the time, and he wasn't very good at all. No compassion. Very black and white where I was concerned. He'd put words into my mouth and then twist them into knots. That is when he wasn't cutting me off as I was struggled to explain the problems I was having and why they were indeed problems. I was a fulltime student who worked part time. The medication I took for my condition only lasted twelve hours. That was nowhere near long enough. I was begging him to let me take an extra dose (for the extra hours of coverage it would give me) but he refused...to do anything. He just didn't care. He kept blaming everything on me. Saying that it was all in my head. Telling me I had anxiety (but refusing to do anything about it either). By the time he moved onto his third year of residency I was all but suicidal.

He was very caring, understanding, and helped me through a difficult time. He took his time listening to me, and our sessions did not feel rushed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Steele has been my psychiatrist for almost 2 years. He is very patient, listens well, and I feel very comfortable approaching him with my problems. Dr. Steele takes time to explain my medications (side effects and how they work), and that means a lot to me.
