Dr. Orozco-Kellermeier was the doctor in Lutheran Children's ER when I brought my 1 year old son there for a high fever. I told to go to the ER by my pediatrician because my son had other health issues and his ped's office was concerned by the high fever. Dr. Orozco refused to call my pediatrician even though I asked several times and even though I called the office from the ER! I had to argue with her and the other doctor to even do blood work. In the end, my son was misdiagnosed with a UTI. I have the provider notes (I asked for them when I was leaving the ER) and the lab work that shows no sign of a UTI -and of course the lab results 2 days later showed none. I feel that if Dr. Orozco had been willing to listen and coordinate care my son would have gotten better sooner.
