does not care or listen to you...no compassion..always in a rush to get to the next patient that he is late for...

Been my provider for less than two years, but first year was amazing. This current year I've been instructed to go to the emergency room due patient neglect and missing prescriptions. Typical response back from nursing staff has been a week and a half at best. I'm looking to find another primary care provider in the area currently. I don't understand what has changed in the past year but it is terrifying how incompetent this doctor/staff is.

Dr. Hudgins is the best doctor I have ever visited. He is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients well-being. I will continue to visit him until he retires.

Dr. Hudgins is a knowledgeable and skilled doc. He's been my family doc for over 10 years and always has had great advice. Carilion office staff seem unhappy. I wonder if there is some problem in Carilion management that makes the Blacksburg staff so negative, abrupt, unfriendly, and officious. The nursing staff are very professional and friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr Hudgins for almost 20 years. He is much more than a family doctor. I have had him do several removals of suspicious growths and check them for cancer. He also has treat me for serious illnesses that is beyond most family doctors. I trust him explicatively.

I LOVE him! He always goes out of his way to do what he can to make sure we understand what's going on and to treat us as efficiently as possibly. He's also wonderful about giving free samples of meds whenever possible.
