I could not have imagined any better treatment nor results.
Nice guy in person, but more importantly extremely competent.
The whole experience at JHH Urology was a revelation in how a first rate medical center should operate, technically (surgically & all the other support services) AND administratively. Very reassuring to be there & see the whole thing humming along routinely, with cheerful, relaxed staff & well organized processes, from admitting to testing to procedures to follow-up. A++ in all departments from me.

To the overweight idiot who called Doc Jarow a clown. You are the same slob who sits in section z who calls Tom Brady a loser or Derek Jeter a bum. "Hey Brady my mother can throw the ball better." Nurse the beer and peanuts and call a pro a bum. How many medical school degrees do you have?

Dr. Jarow performed a radical prostatectomy on me in 2002. He was great, the outcome was great, the hospital was great, and I have had no complications for almost 15 years. PSA is still 0. God Bless the good doc.

Great fan of Dr. Jarrow's. He performed a radical prostatectomy on me at Hopkins in 2010. I don't do a lot of smart things, but I was intelligent enough to learn about Brady and track Dr. J. down. I liked his slightly sarcastic affect, his brilliance, and the fact that he'd performed about a thousand (literally) of the procedures I required. I woke up the morning after surgery (a Saturday), and Dr. J. was in my room checking on me with a big cup of coffee . Looks like he's at the FDA now. They're lucky to have him. Pity the fools who try to foist snake on the agency.

My wife and I think about Dr. J. often and wish him the very best.

Dr Jarow operated on my stage 3b prostate cancer in 2007. He is an extremely talented physician and I am eternally grateful to have had such an accomplished surgeon for my operation.

I've got a challenging condition. Doctor was not very helpful; said to just wait it out. Nice guy, but with no solution in my case.

If you are overweight and have prostate cancer, don't bother seeing him -- he will simply dismiss you as a bad risk. I was very disappointed by his demeanor and regretting traveling to Baltimore for the evaluation. Thankfully I found a competent and more open-minded urologist at another university hospital.

Brilliant guy. Easy going with a great sense of humor. He's a top notch surgeon who removed my cancerous prostate without complications. You'll be lucky to see him.

I found Dr. Jarow very knowlegeable, capable and data driven. The outcome of his treatment of me was excellent. Since he treated me he has maintained a yearly contact. He has been available via both phone and e-mail.
