I saw Dr Roach from 2014 to 2019 and it changed my life. I had really settled into not expecting much out of life, not trying very hard, and not expecting more than a very meager existence. I started to see Dr Roach and after a year of resisting, I had started feeling a little better about myself. Feeling better snowballed into wanting more for myself, and he helped focus my energy on how I could change my life. Soon enough I was going back to school and actually achieving and doing all the things I convinced myself I couldn’t do. He saw something in me that I didn’t and somehow got me to see it too. I went from being an adult living with my parents with no prospects of ever getting a job and moving out to being a professional in a high-paying field. A married, fully functional member of society. Dr Roach didn’t do all this for me, but he got me to believe that I could, and I’ll be eternally grateful to him.

The variation of client "ratings" is a fascinating subject in itself. Dr. Norman W. Roach has been highly effective in his one-on-one counseling sessions. He listens...and is a keen, discerning observer of the ways people express themselves...honing in on problematic areas with precision,
professional skill and caring, and a genuine respect for the intricacies and variation of the human
psyche. We would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Roach to others.

He is knowledgable, but I do not recommend him to anyone. He caters to his own needs through his clients . A lonely man who fosters dependency to meet his emotional needs. He is seductive with clients and does not confront them or challenge them on their issues. Instead, he draws them in, makes them feel they are special, but does little to assist in improving their daily lives. He appears compassionate and caring, which is all in the service of making his clients love him. He self discloses and once relayed a story of a play he was writing about a therapist who had died and all of his patients where sitting around talking about what a great guy he was. Don't waste your money and time.
