Waited months to get an appointment only to be extremely disappointed with this doctor. It was our first appointment and is our last. She was very quick to dismiss us, didn't listen to what we said and talked down to our daughter. I expected more from a Riley doctor....we left the appointment not feeling good about any of it. Getting a new doctor immediately.

Horrible bed side manner. Saw her once but never again. She was so careless in the way she talked to me. She treated me as though I was an idiot. She is very disrespectful.

Dr. Sokol has been very inconsiderate the two times my daughter has seen her. We are getting second opinion. The first time after driving an hour and a half, she asked us why the ns sent us to her? I said, I don't know, then she said I am sending you back to ns for surgery. I could have been told that over the phone. Second time, she tried to act like nothing was wrong with my daughter based on her appearance that day and then had the nerve to ask me if this was a behavioral issue. She acts like she knows it all, and does not really care about helping patients. When trying to figure out a way to help with my daughter's pain and headaches she put her on medicine that takes awhile to work, but nothing during that period to help her deal with her ongoing chronic pain. We will not be going back!

Dr. Dokol is rude, inconsiderate and has an obvious lack of knowledge for certain disorders. She has misdiagnosed my child regardless of what the blood tests say. Our first visit was wonderful but our follow ups were pethetic. She would make up something and leave the room with no plan of how to treat my child. We ended up in the hospital 3 days later. Even still with all of the blood tests coming back positive she still acts like my child is making everything up?

Dr. Sokol has been wonderful in doing everything she can to help us with our daughter. She has epilepsy, aspergers, and many other issues. Our daughter has had serious life threatening allergic reactions to multiple behavior medications that we have tried. (not prescribed by her)When I brought her to Dr. Sokol to help us sort out some of her issues she has spent a good amount of time listening to our concerns and fears as parents and then giving us her input. She has been great about helping us to get services that our daughter really needs. She has been fabulous about helping us with school not getting what has really gone on with our daughter. She has a wodnerful and truly caring heart being the mom of a specail little girl of her own. I am so glad we found her!

My granddaughter suffers seizures of all types. Dr. Sokol the first time we thought was going to be perfect as we have been dealing with her condition for a long time. She seemed very interested and concerned the first time we were there. We have to drive 3 hours to get to her office. The second time there she changed up her meds was in the room about 5 minutes, never looked at the child and walked out of the room. We could have done this over the phone. While in there she had the nerve to yawn. I almost asked if we were keeping her awake. I am in retail and if there is one thing you don't do is let the customer see you yawn, I have yawned before & the customer never knew. She seemed disconcerned that this now 3 yr old who started having seizure activity at 2 and has numerous seizures daily. The 1st visit we thought great we have found someone who is really going to take action only to be thoroughly disappointed at the second appt and have since dropped her like she dropped us.

She is extremely helpful with coordinating my son's care.Give's referrals and running tests. She makes us feel important and has been very helpful in trying to find out a diagnosis for our baby. Does not rush us and answers all questions.
