Dr. Dane is the best dentist I have ever been to. My root canal was painless. he is meticulous and pays attention to detail in a manner that gives one complete confidence. I actually cannot understand how he can afford to spend so much time, so many x-rays, etc. He gives you his home phone just in case and is generally pleasant. The highest recommendation possible here.

He must love to torture people, he performed a painful test with no warning, then said it wasn't covered by insurance and I needed to pay $100. When asked about how medication would affect breastfeeding he said "Well, you need this" and never answered the question.

I would recommend Dr Dane without reservations. He has performed four root canals for me, and in each case has been precise, patient, and meticulous in his work. To give one example: Dr Dane discovered an extra canal in my tooth, something a previous dentist had missed (and which had caused the reinfection.) Dr Dane detected the extra canal and was able to re-do the root canal and save the tooth. He is very caring and always puts the patient first--on several occasions he has made himself available at all hours to help relieve my suffering. He never rushes the procedure and will take as many visits as the tooth needs. He is also a technician -I have actually fallen asleep during a root canal on more than one occasion, which I didn't even know was possible...I can't recommend him highly enough and would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Dane is an outstanding dentist. I was terrified by the prospect of a root canal, but he put me at ease with a clear description of the work I needed, and made paying for it painless, as well, by working with my insurance company rather than asking me to pay everything up front and then applying for a reimbursement on my own. He was courteous, gentle, reassuring, and smart. I enjoyed the atmosphere of his office, the professionalism of his staff, and his bedside manner throughout the process, from initial exam through completion of my process. Through three visits, he was prepared, on time, and on budget. I would refer any of my friends to Dr. Dane, and (if I need it) I would return myself. He is the most capable and human dentist I have ever met! THANKS DR. DANE!

Very friendly and helpful dentist. Made sure I understood what he was doing each step. He was ready for my appointment (no waiting in the reception area) and helped with all the insurance forms Was able to complete the entire root canal in one visit. Office is conviently located in mid-town NYC. If you need a root canal (and I hope you don't) I would recommend him as the one to see for it.

Dr. Dane is the nicest dentist that I have ever met. He is very helpful and kind. He does awesome work. He is very caring toward his patients and I would highly recommend him.
