Self-righteous, cruel, and prideful. I wouldn’t recommend her to any young adult.

My 5 year old liked her a lot! In just one session, she was amazing with the helpful info we needed as we work through the divorce and new family unit. I like that she wasn't pushing up to keep seeing her which made me even more want to have us check in with her from time to time. I left with good notes and some scripts to help me respond to daughter as she questions things about her parents breaking up.

Great doctor! Very kind and has a way with teens. Staff is punctual but I hate the phone system. Sometimes difficult to reach scheduler.

She's awesome with our son and tries to give us tips to help curve his behavioral problems. The receptionist at the office is NEVER there when we go to leave and I need to make an appointment...she nice, but seems to have too much to do other than just checking in patients and giving appointments. My son *4 years old* is very comfortable with Dr. Avinger and doesn't mind acting like he does at home with her, so she knows EXACTLY what my husband and I are describing to her.
