I was unemployed when I was out to dinner and my front tooth cracked. Long story short, I wasn't able to go to the dentist I had been seeing for years, so I went on the hunt. Oddly enough my wife had her same tooth chipped from our toddler child accidentally head butting her, and she too was unable to see her normal office and found Dr. Steckler. SOOO HAPPY SHE FOUND HIM. Her tooth looked amazing and she said he was the same. My tooth was previously cracked from when I was a kid, so the 1st thing Dr. S did was brief me on expectations, including what the procedure would entail. I cannot emphasize this enough, Dr. Steckler did an amazing job on my tooth, and it actually looks better than it ever did. As I had the front chip happen when I was a child (almost 30 years ago), its always been noticeable, whereas now it not only matches but look seamless as if it's always been my front tooth from birth. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful man, and his office manager was polite, courteous, and professional. I've since found a job and am extremely saddened as they don't take the dental insurance my office provides, so I'm debating on whether or not to pay more for an insurance provider on the side - he was that good. Do yourself a favor and go to this office if you can, he is simply amazing!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Steckler's for almost 10 years and can't say enough good things about him. He is very trustworthy, skilled, and knows instantly what is wrong and how to fix it. As a testament to his abilities, the one time he had to refer me to a root canal specialist, the doctor saw my x-rays and commented that Dr. Steckler's work was top notch and what a great dentist he is. Great office environment too...very relaxing.

By far the best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Steckler is amazing and for me is the silver lining to having a lifetime of dental issues. He has a gentle touch, great chair side manner, and is a wiz with root canals and surgical procedures. A little far for me, but he's worth the drive, and I love the spa like atmosphere of the office along with the heated massage chairs!

Great doctor and office! Dr Steckler was very nice, gentle and very experienced. He was able to perform all the dental treatment I needed without having to be refered out. Root canal and extractions were virtually painless.

Went to him quite a few years...not good and found out he graduated at the bottom of his class. From someone who was in his dentistry program...was not good with his hands. Ffyi

Avoid. I have had multiple appointments, waited anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour. The office equipment is from the 70's. Dr Steckler seems rushed and is more concerned with getting you out the door. I had a crown put in and had to go back three times for adjustments until the crown cracked and needed to be replaced. The crown lasted 6 months so I decided to not go back. I went to Dr Lee Meyers in Bowie and it was a great experience and all the equipment was high tech. I'll see how this crown holds up.

Dr. Steckler is fine. He's thorough and quick and virtually painless. BUT...and this is a BIG BUT...do not go to him. His office manager/receptionist is THE WORST. She is the most scatterbrained woman I've ever met. She can't do billing correctly, scheduling correctly, ANYTHING. She always seems flustered and will make a thousand mistakes. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE...I'm serious.

I haven't been to the dentist for years and one of my teeth started hurting so feared I have a cavity or worse. They just recommended I change toothpaste and the pain is gone. The place was nice and no longs waits. If you need a reliable dentist in annapolis then call Scott.
