Very unhappy with Dr. Melmed and Physician Assistant. Abruptly discharged from practice when I questioned necessity of returning to office every four to six week for repetitive blood work and IMO unnecessary referral to other Ohio Health physicians. I did not suffer with any chronic condition that required constant blood work or referral to other specialists. Constant revolving door of scheduled appointments, blood work and doc referrals. Prescribed numerous medications for high blood pressure that caused side effects.I thought the infamous "Seinfeld" episode where character Elaine was denied care by other physicians as a result of her reading her med chart was fictitious but it's not. Melmed blackballed me to other physicians & placed a medical code in the Ohio Health system that prevented me from receiving care or referral to another Ohio Health physician. Be careful DO NOT question and DO NOT refuse anything this practice recommends. You will be punished if you do!

Dr. Melmed put my mother into stage 3 renal insufficiency through overuse of diuretics. He also failed to diagnose her TIAs for 10 years. Lazy & incompetent physician.

Dr. Memed and staff are by far among the best. As a patient, I am treated with respect, dignity and value. There is a genuine sense of care and compassion by Dr. Melmed and his entire staff. I have been a patient of his for many years, and each and every time I need his or his team's help, I am given the best of care.

I HAVE A CHRONIC MEDICAL CONDITION THAT NEEDS CLOSE FOLLW UP AND HAS FREQUENT FLARE UPS. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ABLE TOO SEE HIM WHNE I NEEDED TO. HE IS SO UNDERSTANDING AND HIS STAFF IS WARM AND COMPASSIONATE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN.

I have RA and that has a whole set of problems on its own. I have been with Dr. Melmed for years. The bottom line is he is the best doctor I have gone to. Drs are not God or mind readers and can only go on the information they are given so they can run the test that helps them get to the bottom of the problem. When I do my part with proper communication and questions, Dr Melmed can do his part. Sometimes numerous test are run to eliminate medical problems so he can zero in on the actual problem. Dr Melmed is a doctor that cares about his patients and communicates and follows up with them. He will not hesitate to send you to an expert when it is beyond his area. All of his experts recommended have been tops and also care about their patients. If you do not expect him to read your mind and you are a good patient, you will find no better doctor or doctor's staff. We patients have a responsibility to our doctors to ask questions and to communicate so they can do their jobs.

Always makes time for any questions I might have. I never feel hurried and his staff is very efficient and friendly. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment.

I was a new patient for Dr. Melmed this year. Very bad practice in my opinion, overcharges, bad communication, questionable diagnosis, to keep you coming back every 6 weeks. Problems have been diagnosed at this doc. office that never came up since having routine physicals in the past 8 years. I am looking for a new doc. My veternarian is more detailed and complete with care for my animals than this office is with humans. Would NOT recommend Capital Primary Care.
