Had to wait 2 hours for a 5 minute IME exam, the doctor had a very smart remark about the wait time, and his receptionist is very friendly but clearly overwhelmed. Make sure if your insurance schedules you with him to take the whole day off!

Knowledgeable, helpful and caring. I had hip replacement surgery 5 years ago and he was with me every step of the way. I would recommend DR. Fried highly.

This orthopedist performs a lot of what he calls "independent medical exams" for liability insurance companies. In large part, he tries to find ways to knock down the claims of legitimately injured accident victims. He is referred exams by a company called CFO Medical, which was purchased by Examworks, a larger company that does the same thing. here is a copy of Examworks mission statement: "Our clients utilize independent review services to evaluate health care claims for accuracy and legitimacy. The ExamWorks Group service portfolio responds to the urgent claims evaluation needs of our clients including the identification of unnecessary services, inappropriate charges, misrepresentations and abuse. We share a common vision: effective, thorough and independent medical review." This doctor gives opinions that the corporate clients want to here.
