I race motocross (dirt bike) and had multiple injuries throughout the years. I met Dr Gatt in 2001 after a bad left shoulder dislocation, torn rotator cuff, frozen shoulder etc. all in one crash! That was the first surgery that I had wit Dr. Gatt, and he put me back on my feet (or should I say back on my dirt bike) in a few months. From there on, each time I injured myself (too many times), I always put my faith in him: 2 ACL reconstructions (right and left knee in 2010 and 2011), torn labrum (right shoulder), two broken collarbones (left and right). Dr Gatt never pushes to surgery until there is no other options: he did not operate on my left collarbone which I was surprised because I thought it looked bad ... but he was right, the collarbone healed w/o surgery within a couple months. For the right collarbone, he plated it: I was back to normal after 6 weeks. Every single surgery he did was a success. But I also visited him for many other injuries not requiring surgery e.g. sprained ankle, broken wrist, broken hand, dislocated elbow and every time (again) I was back to normal in no time. So as you can read, I am not giving a feedback on Dr. Gatt after one single visit (lol), I know what I am talking about ... and Dr. Gatt is one of the best (if not the best) at what he is doing. So, look no further if you need an orthopedic surgeon, you'll be happy.
