I race motocross (dirt bike) and had multiple injuries throughout the years. I met Dr Gatt in 2001 after a bad left shoulder dislocation, torn rotator cuff, frozen shoulder etc. all in one crash! That was the first surgery that I had wit Dr. Gatt, and he put me back on my feet (or should I say back on my dirt bike) in a few months. From there on, each time I injured myself (too many times), I always put my faith in him: 2 ACL reconstructions (right and left knee in 2010 and 2011), torn labrum (right shoulder), two broken collarbones (left and right). Dr Gatt never pushes to surgery until there is no other options: he did not operate on my left collarbone which I was surprised because I thought it looked bad ... but he was right, the collarbone healed w/o surgery within a couple months. For the right collarbone, he plated it: I was back to normal after 6 weeks. Every single surgery he did was a success. But I also visited him for many other injuries not requiring surgery e.g. sprained ankle, broken wrist, broken hand, dislocated elbow and every time (again) I was back to normal in no time. So as you can read, I am not giving a feedback on Dr. Gatt after one single visit (lol), I know what I am talking about ... and Dr. Gatt is one of the best (if not the best) at what he is doing. So, look no further if you need an orthopedic surgeon, you'll be happy.

Surgery for Shoulder rotator cuff repair. Tried therapy first, did not rush to surgery but was ultimately necessary and the result is 100% use of arm strength again. Different sources advised me to be skeptical of getting surgery but was best decision for me and he knew it but didn’t push for it. Great demeanor, bed side manner and most importantly, surgeon!

Dr. Gatt and his entire staff are the best! Dr. Gatt is very knowledgeable, has excellent bedside manner, and he listens! He presents all your options and doesn't rush you into making a decision about how to proceed with the treatment plan. Very efficient office, always on time, and just good people!! The nurse line for questions is great too--I always get a call back within an hour or two (while the office is open)! Dr. Gatt has called me personally a few days after surgery to make sure I'm doing ok and go over the post-op instructions again. I'm truly blessed to have found such a competent, compassionate, and caring orthopedic surgeon!
