Dr. Konwal would talk down to me and tell me to read internet information as well. He asked me to chart my progress and I did and organized it on spreadsheets. He said that looked manic. Would not even look at my chart after I spent all the time doing for him. He did give me good information on my daughter. Heres the story. He is as offensive as Simon Cowell from American Idol, but he does know his stuff. Never got back on track with anyone after he left. Do no like Geiger at All!! Dr Konwal at the end of insulting your intelligence would always give you his cell phone number and was very accessible. Dr. Geiger will not even call in an emergency, you could sit in her office while her girls make calls to people who owe her money as she tells them good job girls, and walks by you without even a look or hello. Very unprofessional office except the highlight which is the caring and talented Jill Johnson.

Worst Psychiatrist I have ever seen. I have a lot of patience normally. He said "you have lexapro poop-out" and then said look at the web and read it. I didn't come to a doctors office to be told to look at the web for guidance.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Konwal, I wish he was still at Sweedish American as well. He has alot of good ideas about how to pick my brain, thats probably where the negative feedback comes from. I dont believe he would throw an off the wall comment at you without good reason. He just makes you think, and is very good at diagnosing mental problems if you are willing to let him. BiPolarPerson.

He knows his meds, but I didn't need meds for Celiac Disease and an enzyme missing in my lungs. Insurance covered everything for years only to leave without any help.

Doctor Konwal dismissed all my problems by saying I was bipolar. He said that as a psychology major, I should already know all about my problems and that I should use be using my fast ethernet connection at college to research depression instead of "look at****". Every time I told him one of the problems I was having, he would loudly and condescendingly yell out "holy s@#t". He seemed semi knoledgeable in his field, explaining why I was bipolar based on things he made up, that he claimed I had said to him. He gave me a drug company sponsored questionaire (i.e. if you have 3 or more you could be bipolar) . I checked off one, and he still claimed he was right. I stayed for the whole appointment only and did not walk out because he in the end agreed to write me a prescription for the medicine I had formerly been on. Wanted me to chart my progress with a chart that he filled out with symptoms that just DID NOT apply to me. At least I got his cell, he said I could call anytime.
